Happy to return to Henley

Third visit to Henley to meet with family. Really enjoyed it again. Easy and safe access into Henley with great walking and plenty to see and do. We particularly enjoy walking along the river paths in both directions. Many thanks again to the wardens for an enjoyable stay.

Nice Easter Break in the Camper

Lovely clean site, well laid out with good facilities (showers are v. good) and in a good location to Henley (and bus stop). Didn't notice the road noise as other members mentioned, but we didn't spend much time on site during the day. Henley is excellent for walks, pub lunches etc.. and a lot of the pubs are dog friendly too. Would recommend :-)

Lovely Easter Weekend

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Henley Four Oaks, the site is well laid out, facilities very clean, showers were wonderful!. The staff friendly and helpful and I loved that your could order Bread, BBQ packs etc (very useful service) and the reception sold newspapers. a 20 minute walk into to Henley with some lovely shops, pubs and restaurants - or a bus stop just up the road. Smashing walks along the Thames in either direction although if you turn left there is not a footpath so would recommend turning right and picking up the path further along the road. There is some road noise, (boy racers on motorbikes were the worst) if you are pitched near the road, however, at night it is much quieter and did not disturb us at all.

Quick weekend in Henley

We had a lovely time. The site and facilities were lovely and the warden polite and helpful. Shower blocks were clean and showers were hot and powerful :) The site is a comfortable journey to Legoland and we'd highly recommend. Thanks for a great weekend.

First time at Henley

Site usual club standard. Wardens friendly and welcoming gave us all necessary information about site , road access into Henley from site. Site next to sewage plant but really no issue you wouldn't know it's there. Road, there is some noise but we didn't really notice it as not on site during day. Road into Henley not that bad caution needed when crossing but footpath on opposite side of road is all the way into Henley no walking in road. Great area for walking if that's what you like to do. We did a great walk from Marlow along river and same from Henley down to Hambledon lock and weir. On Henley tourist site you can find walks for the area including midsummer murders walk around town. We will definitely revisit this site and area.

Catching up with friends

We stayed here with our Motorhome for 2 nights in order to meet up with friends as I used to live a few miles away. Its a lovely site and the sun was shining and the birds singing. The facilities are top class and the friends that visited us commented how clean every thing was. It is an easy walk into Henley and the road noise didn't bother us too much as we were away from the road. We did however have the pleasure of a bi-plane looping the loop above!

Brilliant location for lovers of River Thames etc etc

We had a super 3 day stay, everything was perfect, even the weather - site good for walkers, beautiful countryside. Easy walk into henley where there is everything one could wish for, shops, history, good pubs not to mention Dusty Springfields memorial tablet in St Marys Churchyard. Pitches spacious - dog walk bit small but adequate - facilities beautifully clean & well maintained loved it.

Weekend with friends

The site was quite nice, but a bit pricey as this was the first site we had stayed on that week. Facilities are what you would expect at a club site. It was a nice walk into town. The only downside is the noise from the road. There were no cc club brown signs as you approach the site and we nearly missed it thinking it was the exit

First break if the year on the whole a positive stay at this site. We found the site noisy with traffic nouse especially on Sunday afternoon with mic

On the whole a positive stay at this site. We found the traffic noise intrusive, particularly on Sunday afternoon with motorcyclists roaring by. Weekdays traffic queues back from Henley past the site The warden is working hard to bring the grass up to standard after the winter months Nearly over shot when we first arrived, we did not see any brown caravan road signs and the entrance to the site is not particularly clear On the whole a pleasant first trip if the season
