Top notch

As veterans of over 40 years and 120+ different club sites this is one at the top of our list. The place is spotless, beautiful floral displays and neat pitches. The wardens are the best, friendly and hard working. There is some road noise but overnight is peaceful and if you are out and about what’s the problem? We will return.

Pleasant Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Henley Four Oaks. While the proximity to the road does make it a bit noisy at times, the sound quickly fades into the background and doesn’t detract from the overall experience. The facilities here are top-notch, providing everything you could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is fantastic, offering convenient access to nearby attractions and beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a well-maintained, conveniently located, and hospitable place to stay, Henley Four Oaks is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be returning!

Regular visitor to this site

I regularly stay here; it's got everything I need. The shower block is spotlessly clean, if a little dated, and the staff are very helpful. The noise from the road does go quiet in the evenings and overnight, but if you are sensitive to noise this probably isn't the right place for you, as there are planes, red kites, magpies, and crows all trying to make some noise at various times. If you want to move your pitch to one at the back of the site and one is available, the wardens will gladly help - depending on which type you booked there may be an additional (small) charge. The little shop and the shed are also very useful! Very glad to have found it, and will keep coming back.

Will never return

I have never had a panic attack on a campsite until I stayed here. I found the attitude of the staff most unwelcoming. Although it states that it is dog friendly, the facilities for your four legged friend are very small. As, our pitches were next to reception, en route to the tiny triangle of land for dogs and the bins, during the busy time of arrivals my poor little rescue dog was unsettled and barked. The way a member of staff talked to me regarding this was rude, unempathetic and left me worried for the rest of our stay, despite my dog settling down after the disturbance of arrivals had finished. I have been a club member for eight years with the same dog, nobody has ever found issue with her before.

Location an issue

Unfortunately, the site is located next to a main road, which cannot of course be helped (hence the low score if peace and quiet are important). If you have a pitch next to the road, then the traffic noise is constant for most of the day and some of the night. Vehicles seem to speed up as they leave Henley. It is about 1 mile walk to Henley down the road, but there is a footpath. Once in Henley, there are good shops, bars and walks along the river to Hambleden (Stag & Huntsman) and Aston (Flower Pot). If walking the other way to Shiplake (Baskerville Arms), be aware that the Thames Path is closed and the re-route takes you out of your way. Site has a tiny dog walking area and small playground.

A Great Site

This is a lovely site, I pitched next to the road - - which can be busy - but it didn’t interfere with my stay. Site is very well maintained, a shop in reception - which i always find helpful. Great customer service and a supportive site team. Wonderful location just outside of the town - with access to numerous shops, bars, restaurants. Good walking by the Thames and also boat rides that you can take. Good public transport and easy to visit other local attractions. Toilet block was lovely and clean and well maintained. Would definitely go back!

great location

Fabulous location, easy to get to and 20 mins walk into the centre of this superb town, excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, waitrose and mini sainsburys. 10 mins walk to the thames riverside and its festivals and events. The site itself is a typical camc site in need of refurb and upgrade. The team are great and do the best with what they have got but the facilities are dated to say the least. The onsite shop is well stocked and you can order bbq and breakfast packs from a local butcher. Well worth a visit but dont expect good showers and toilets, they are really old. You would be better booking the site next door, Swiss farm.

Another great stay at Henley Four Oaks

We stayed at Henley Four Oaks to attend the Henley Royal Regatta. We always stay on this site, when we visit Henley. Again the site was faultless, the shower block was excellent (real showers!), the pitches were generous and the Wardens were welcoming. We would reccomend this site to anyone wishing to visit Henley. Yes, there is some road noise, as the site is along an A road but you soon get used to it. It is a small price to pay to be so close to Henley. We will be coming back again, the next time we need to be in Henley. Thanks again.

Excellent Site

We loved Henley Four Oaks. It's a bit noisy with the road being so close, but that soon fades into the background. The facilities, the location and more importantly the Wardens were in our opinion brilliant. The Wardens are so friendly, will do anything for you to make your stay easy and take such good care of the site and the pitches. Loved it here and highly recommend.
