Our 1st time ever!!

We had no clue what too expect or what to do, the staff put us at ease and even walked over to our pitch and helped guide us on. The site was lovely and peaceful, good space between pitches and the facilities were immaculate.

First time with caravan club

We have been members since October 2015 and this is the first time we have used a club site.  Shame on us we say!  This was a beautiful site.  Spotlessly clean, grounds well kept, and the friendly American long ear owl and family of ducks, were a joy.  Don't worry the owl doesn't wake you up through the night. He seems to be very much a day time owl!!! The staff were helpful and always willing to help.  Enjoy a walk or bike ride, as we did, around grafham water. It's 10 miles, but there is a pub half way round to give you some incentive.  Beautiful, we will definitely be back.  We were there 10th June for two nights in our motor home KT! Enjoy.

First Cc user

I stayed here June 2016 for 3 nights.    It was my first Caravan holiday.    The staff were friendly and helpful from first contact to book and during the stay.   The site was extremely well maintained and clean.    Not as much as a water spot was possible to find.  The walks from the site were wonderful.   I explored the cycle paths with my dogs.   Lots of woodland paths too.    We went to the visitor centre at Grafham Water for refreshments and icecreams.   I bought a recipe book from the local church and went to the Grafham community shop too.    I will be going back.    I have been told that all caravan club sites have such high standards.    I am hooked.

Peace and relaxation even on a busy bank holiday weekend

Delightful site with many choices for active people. Large field in which to exercise dogs, as well as signposted footpaths towards Reservoir for longer dog walks. Spacious, very clean toilet block and dishwashing area. Pleasant helpful wardens. Local Community shop is about 15 mins walk away, located on car park of Village Hall. I walked there along roads but brought dog back via field paths so about a 2 mile round trip. There is no pub in the village, but other excellent ones are recommended further around the Water. This was a very busy site during Spring Bank Holiday week but even so, it was possible to find peace and relaxation. Wifi was good too. I hope to use the site again.

spotless site

excellent site. very clean and tidy. in a nice location for cycling etc. it could do with selling some everyday essentials and snacks and you have to be very cautious of children running and riding bikes all over the site but otherwise a lovely site well worth a visit.

unsettled weather

stayed at this over spring bank first 3 days were good but the next 2 days never stopped raining the site is excellent as are the wardens very good nothing too much trouble always a smile facilities spotless as what one would expect from a club site.My only gripe are the other members crossing your pitch as a short cut to the facilities not only kids but adults your sat in your caravan having tea and members cross your pitch usually having a good look inside as they pass we sat outside having refreshments when a family of four 2 adults and 2 children came across the pitch on there bikes so rude inconsiderate selfish people no manners would they like it i doubt it nothing wrong with the club and wardens facilities good area good just inconsiderate members

Special attraction - the owl

This is one of the quietest and cleanest sites we have visited. The presence of a horned owl calmly sitting on the ground a few feet away made our visit very special. There are no eating facilities in Grantham so it would have been useful to have some recommendations from other visitors in the Information Room so that we could choose where to eat out based on informed opinion. Fish and Chips on Friday were good.

Bank Holiday Weekend

Great weekend away at this site, this is one of our favourite sites. I booked a service pitch and the only issue was the connection kit hose for the fresh water was not long enough. As the water outlet on the caravan and the tap for the water was on opposite sides. Wardens are very friendly at this site and it is extremely clean and well-presented keep up the good work. My only worry when visiting this site is the access to the site as 2 caravans would not be able to pass each other. Overall a lovely site and fantastic if you enjoy riding your bikes or walking.
