Excellent time at Grafham

Just spent 3 nights at Grafham Water Caravan Site. A fantastic site with friendly knowledgeable owners.

Night owl

Have just spent five nights on this lovely site.  Its perfect location to Grafham Water makes it wonderful for walking and cycling. There is a Great Horned Owl in residency and we were lucky enough to get a great photo. The site wardens are extremely helpful and pleasant and we have had a great trip. Sadly leaving tomorrow.

Don't choose a central pitch!

A lovely site with excellent and very friendly staff but we were a bit disappointed with our stay. We chose to pay extra for a serviced pitch as we wanted a totally relaxed couple of days. Unfortunately our pitch was on what appeared to be an unofficial shortcut to the toilet block so we had a succession of rather rude people wandering through on our hardstanding just a couple of feet from our window with the inevitable peek inside the van on the way past. The site really needs a designated walkway for people to get from one side of the site to the other rather than meandering randomly through the central pitches and perhaps a reminder on booking in of the courtesy of respecting others privacy.

a lovely quiet week away

We stayed here last week it's a peaceful site, great for walking and cycling, it's a shame the swimming pool is only open during July and August, I understand why but I feel there's not many sites with this facility and it's only open when the kids are off, It could do with another washing machine as there's only one and takes along time, the resident owl was an amazing site to see.  We would recommend this site and will be returning.

Lovely Break

Stayed over Easter and was really pleased with the site overall. Extremely clean facilities and yet the cleaning was carried out with minimum fuss and disruption to anyone. The site staff were really lovely, have to stay probably the best we have come across. They were friendly and gave useful information. The ducks and resident owl were a great bonus for the kids also. A good location for cycling and walking. Will be pleased to visit again

Unexpectedly lovely

Brilliant site, peaceful and well run. Lovely friendly wardens. Nice location with good walk around Grafham Water, and a number of National Trust properties nearby.  Would definitely recommend this site for a quiet break.

A perfect little break

We stayed on this site for 4 nights and it was perfect. It was quiet, pleasant, friendly and as clean as you would expect for a Caravan Club site. Grafham Water being just a short drive or walk down the road provides a lovely place to walk, and it's huge! We visited St Neots and Huntingdon, both of which are lovely little towns. There's also a very convenient community shop just down the road. I would highly recommend this site to anyone.

Lovely break

Had six nights at this site, lovely helpful wardens. The community shop a short walk away supplied all basic needs.Chip van friday good. Excellent butchers in nearby Buckden. The Wheatsheaf at Perry serves lovely food good prices. Yes there are potholes on the drive up to the site but can be avoided if youre a decent driver! Loved the resident owl. Will return

Quiet site except resident owl !!

Pretty little site. Very quiet. Not much in the shop but only a short walk to the community shop in the village. Facilities spotless. Wardens very helpful and friendly. Lots of wildlife to see including ducks and an owl. Great for children. Our 10 year old had a great time. Small play area. Only stayed 2 nights to try out a new (to us) caravan. Will be back.
