A little Cracker!

Just arrived home from a lovely peaceful 3 night break. The wardens were extremely welcoming and always had a smile. It was very quiet even though there were a lot of families on site. We will be definitely coming back!!!!

A pit stop stay-over - May Bank Holiday

Stayed for one night over the Bank Holiday as sadly due to our lack of planning that was the only availability left!  We love this site as it's so handy for us being just of the A1 and so we come here often for short weekend breaks.  The wardens, Sharon and John are friendly, chatty and approachable.  The shower block particularly spacious unlike some other sites.  Cycling around Grafham Water is one of our favorite things to do. At the nearest Anglian Water carpark to this site there is a place to hire bikes and a lovely new childrens play area that would keep the younger members of any family happy for at least and hour! Wonderful places to picnic and even somewhere to have a cup of tea and slice of cake! There is a lovely community shop in Grafham with everything you could need.  Certainly a site where you can relax after a hard week at work, listen to the wildlife and ponder!  With a glass of vino in hand of course!  We'll be back! Thank you

Lovely Bank Holiday

Stayed at Grafham over the Early May Bank Holiday. It was easy to get to, straight off the A1. Very quite area, but also close to many lovely areas. The site is open and clean with lovely walks. The nearby Indian is worth the 10 min walk. The community shop is a well stocked and again a nice 10 min walk for a paper. The facilities were clean and plentiful. We were there when the site was full over the Fri-Mon and also the quiter days after. Great wardens too, who were friendly and approachable. All you expect from a club site.

Lovey Site

This was our first visit to this site. We received a warm welcome from the wardens who gave us all the local information. It is a lovely wel kept site and the toilet block is kept spotlessly clean and we enjoyed that little bit of extra room in the shower. We enjoyed the walks around the nearby reservoir. Huntindon is close by which has nice range of independ shops and a small market. If we are around this area again we would not hesitate to book into Grafham Water.

Lovely site in beautiful Cambridgeshire

Our second  visit to this lovely peaceful clean site.Although the weather beautiful and site full it didn't seem busy. The wardens should win an award as very friendly and helpful keeping the site in very good order.Plenty to do in the area although Grafham Water a little disappointing as lots of midges when walking along the reservoir wall.Several National Trust properties in the vicinity worth visits,St Ives very good ,Houghton Mill offers a mill and some lovely walks and time it right if you can and do the fantastic open gardens in the nearby village of Hemingsford Abbots which is across the water a short distance.Highly recommended by two young early retireds!

Great site for peace and quite.

Being new to caravanning we wonder if this site will be a hard act to follow. Well laid out pitches with easy access to dog walks and good trails around Grafham Water. Facilities were spotlessly clean and warm despite the hail and snow we endured over the few days we were there. The approach road was bad and needs urgent work. We were well looked after by the friendly staff.

A Spring short break

The site was excellent with facilities etc looked after to the highest standard.  Although early season and the site not to capacity the facilities were always up to standard.  Clean and inviting for both the ladies and gents.  The service road on entering the site was appalling as previously mentioned and SHOULD be addressed without delay.  Otherwise everything on site was perfect - well done charming hosts - nothing too much trouble !

The Bad Point on an otherwise excellent site!

The entrance road into the site is frankly appalling - nasty and deep holes randomly placed represent a real hazard one's vehicles. Someone should authorize the necessary expenditure to solve this problem. It lets the normal high standards of our club down! Fix it!

Relaxing and quiet

We had five nights stay and it was very relaxing, very quiet probably as the kids were back at school, community shop nearby providing mostly basic foods stuff, I would say 15 min walk rather than 10. Site was very clean. As another member has said no etiquette  many people taking short cuts through our pitches to reach the toilet block.
