Freindliest Wardens

The new Wardens at Graffham Site are the most friendly we have encountered for years! They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the site continues to be in an ideal location with the pool a big plus.

Excellent Site. Lots to do.

Just stayed here for 3 nights for the first time and was very impressed. Quiet and relaxing ( except for the children playground area, but thats to be expected.! ) Plenty of long walks around Grafton Water and its visitor centre good for coffee & cake stop on the way round. Good to have the Fish & Chip van option on Friday nights. :o) Facilities as good as you expect them to be (although did miss not having a radio on in the shower block ) Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes walking, cycling and relaxing. Will definitely return.

Lovely site - very friendly and clean

We stayed here with friends last weekend. A very warm welcome greeted us with guidance on free pitches located next to each other as we were with another family and wanted to be next to each other. The site was very clean and well kept. Hygiene facilities were among the best we've seen. The pool was great fun and am welcome sight to cool off as the sun was out in some force. Chip van on Friday night was great. No complaints ... we look forward to a return visit sometime. Thanks very much.

Beautiful location but...

We stayed here for the first time recently and enjoyed our two night stay however I have to say that it wasn't the friendliest of CC sites. With two young children that were keen to enjoy and discover the site it was disappointing that the wardens felt the need to continuously nag at them. You could think that it was just my children misbehaving but I witnessed many children of varying ages getting told off for the most ridiculous of things. They were abrupt on arrival and departure too. Site itself is pleasant and quiet, very clean, beautiful location for walks and cycling. We were also fortunate enough to use the pool which was an added bonus.

Pleasant Stay At A Quiet Site

A long weekend stay 3 nights - about right. A pleasant sight, smaller than many CC sites. A site of 2 halves, hard stand and grass. in places the pitches look a little packed in. We stayed on the grass..... pitches 31/32 need to be realigned to back on to the hedge as per plan. When both occupied, the strange angles and undulating ground resulted in vans too close together. Having a pool is real bonus but playground ok for younger children under 10 yrs. For older children there is no play area to kick a ball around. The real star of the site is the Great Long Horned Owl, often visible and watching over..... the staff are not bad either. Visited Houghton Mill and walked to Grafham Water... both enjoyable. Ideal for a short stay or stopover travelling north to south.

Attractive Site

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grafham Water, a very attractive site.  It was our first stay as brand new caravanners!  The staff were very friendly and helpful.  Will be returning.

Lovely

Wardens friendly and helpful. The site & facilities were generally clean with the exception of 4 separate piles of dog muck in the grass near our pitch which has to be from a previous member using the area.  The pool attendant was efficient and friendly Close to local pubs and shops and Grafham Water.  Play facilities for children  Highly recommended and the staff are good advocates for caravan club

Grafham Water

This is our favourite stop off point between home in the north east and visits to the south. It is a lovely little site, plenty of wildlife, birds, ducks, and a gorgeous resident owl....'Ollie" Facilities are very good and clean, all in all, top notch.

Peaceful Site

Well placed site to explore the lake and surrounding countryside. Ideal if you are a walker or a fisherman. Local pub is the Mermaid a couple of miles away, it has excellent real ales and serves good food.
