Lovely Site

Lovely site and very welcoming (unlike quite a few CC sites). Plenty of space and no sense of crowding (unlike quite a few CC sites). It was just before the school holidays and was very quiet although nearly full. Lovely pool, great walks around. Only drawback was no pub within reasonable walking distance - we care motorhomers. Will definitely be back.

Noisy experience!

A lovely site, as always, but spoilt by the arrival of the 'neighbours from hell' who had no respect for us or anyone else for that matter. The family consisted of 2 adults and 4 children and upon arrival didn't even acknowledge that my wife and I existed, even though we were on the next pitch. Their children were completely out of control and obviously upset many other campers, because the warden had to have 'a word' with them. Other than that we enjoyed using the pool, and we cycled around Graham Water, as well as enjoying some lovely walks.....perhaps our next visit here should be out of school holidays!

Great setting, nice site.

Just back from a short break at Grafham. It is school holidays so as expected lots of children but plenty for them to do, cycling around the site, small playground and a swimming pool. We were here back in Seotember 16 and without children it has a different feel. This site is great for walking, cycling and free from external noise. A small village run shop is half a mile away for essential provision. Site is spotlessly clean with very good facilities. If you like a site in the heart of the countryside away from it all this is a site for you.

School Holidays!

Spent 5 days here last week. Yes there are lots of children as it is the school hols. We took our 11 year old granddaughter. She loves the swimming pool and it is the main reason for us choosing this site as it is only an hour from home. It is not a site we would choose during the holidays if we weren't taking a child with us but we grin and bear it for her sake. There are lots of kids on bikes and I do find it surprising that some parents do not appear to worry about them cycling around the site on the roads. As we all know not all drivers keep to the speed limit! However it wasn't too bad and we didn't find it too noisy. I must say that the pool attendant was fantastic. (Young guy with red hair) Kept a close eye on what was going on in the pool. Very good with running the session times so that everyone got a fair chance to swim and ensuring that everyone could have lots of fun in a safe way. All in all a good few days.

200 miles round trip for a weekend, but well well worth it

We travelled 99 miles to Grafham Water C.C Site for our first trip there, Which was well worth it. We were greeted by one of the friendliest lady Wardens we have met on all our travels. We stayed on pitch 34, which is next to the park, as we had our 3 and 5 year old granddaughters with us.(They usually come in their van with parents). They loved the small but adequate park and pool facilities making some new friends over the week end, which along with the toilets, showers, pot washing, site in general were all spotlessly clean. They are very much little country girls, so to see rabbits, ducks, wild fowl and the Grafham Owl was also a real bonus for them. Wardens are really nice, hard working, friendly people who cannot do enough if and when required.(And were really nice to our Granddaughters). Just booked for another week end in September

A lovely site in term time!

This is our second visit to this site. A well positioned and nicely laid out site with excellent facilities. Site looked after very well and a real bonus to have the swimming pool. We stayed there at this time of year because we had our young grandchild with us who has now started school so no choice. The big downside was the very noisy children treating the whole site as a total playground with no parental control whatsoever. We like seeing children having fun but there is no need to go round on their bikes at a horrendous speed the wrong way round the site and to scream at the tops of their voices, to the point of the young children being unable to sleep. It is not really the children's fault but the parents who seem to think it is perfectly OK to totally abdicate any responsibility for their children's behaviour but above all safety. We were surprised and thankful there were no serious accidents whilst we were there.  We know it is not the wardens responsibility but there was no attempt at all from them to quieten things down. A lovely site but we shall not be returning in school holidays which then spoils it for our own grandchildren

Nice Site

Enjoyed a nice stay for 5 nights. The facilities were all very clean & well maintained. Visted Cambridge, Ely & The Wimpole Estate. Obviously a good loction for a short stay if you are travelling North South or visa versa.

Peace & Quiet Guaranteed

If the only thing you can hear at night is the occasional hoot of the owl, then that's good enough for me.  Have already booked to go back.  Lovely site, lovely location, friendly helpful wardens.  Can't wait to pitch up again.

Fantastic 5 days

Lovely wardens. Wonderful weather so pool a bonus but would be better with no ball games because of its size.

Freindliest Wardens

The new Wardens at Graffham Site are the most friendly we have encountered for years! They couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the site continues to be in an ideal location with the pool a big plus.
