Lovely site.

Just returned from eight nights at Hayle. Our fourth stay. We always enjoy our stay. It's easy to get to and situated nicely for visiting many attractions. The Wardens are very helpful but my husband would agree with the previous comments about the toilet block. I found no problems with the Ladies but every day he came back from showering complaining about the smell. He said if we had been nearer to the water he would have used our own shower. We find the rule about parking the car to the left of the white marker just silly. Why not Caravan, awning and own car. Who wants to sit and look at the neighbours car. Its not good to have to keep running round the caravan to load up or unload, especially if it's wet and if you have dogs! Another gripe (nothing to do with the site) £6.00 to park at Lands End!!!

Builders Required

Just returned from Godrevy after 12 day stay this is the second time this year on this lovely site wonderful wardens could not do enough for you they have an impossible job the toilet blocks are a disgrace plumbing banging pressure failing in the showers. The wardens were attempting to rectify the situation but it needs to be pulled down come on Caravan Club the shower & toilet facilities at the site along the road at Gwithian is far better but we do not want to stay there we love Godrevy that is why we join the caravan Club but do not be complacent there are other sites around spending big money on improvements

dog beach

Good site would be so much better if the steps to the beach were repaired. Most people on site had dogs and could not get on the beach

Really enjoyable 2 weeks.

Excellent site for visiting most of Cornwall. Will be going back. Really friendly helpful wardens. Always with a smile on there face. There was a lot of people on site but always found it clean. It was a very peaceful site and short walk to Dunes and beach.

Fab yet again

This is our second visit to this great site, it would have been more but it's not that easy to get in to.Its location is fab being just over the road from the sand dunes & the beach which is mainly dog friendly all year round(there is a smaller beach by the lighthouse that is no dogs Easter to the end of Sept). Yes, the facilities block is in need of a revamp.....come on Caravan Club management sort it out.... but there is still good hot showers to be had as long as all the cubicles are not been used at the same time. Now for a moan aimed at the gentlemen..... hubby tells me that in a morning the gents loo can be totally disgusting! What's going on guys? What's wrong with cleaning the toilet after you have used it? It is not up to the wardens to clean up after you! The wardens are very friendly & helpful & work very hard to keep the site pristine. We will definitely return again if we can get in.

Holiday in Cornwall

Godrevy Park is a very enjoyable site to stay at with helpful wardens and access to Gwithian Towans. There is good dog walking on the sand dunes however beach access for dogs is limited between Easter and the beginning of October. The site is always busy yet quiet, clean and tidy with good facilities.

Short break in Cornwall

Good site in a good location .Ideal for exploring western Cornwall. Wardens were helpful and friendly and managed a very busy site well. The toilets and showers were very busy in the mornings but were still clean and plenty of hot water. The dog walks from site were very good. The visiting Fish & Chips van of good quality .

A New Review

Having read some reviews before going to this site, I felt a bit trepidatious about the shower block. I was delighted to find it a lot better than I was led to believe. It was clean and has privacy cubicles, and even with all the showers occupied the water still ran hot. It is a great site and with only a minutes walk to be on the sand dunes, and 20 mins more to the cafe at Godrevy, I can't fault it. Will be back!!

Needs updating

The wardens work hard to keep the toilet block looking clean, it really does need updating. Come on CC spend some of the money you take on this site, it is rather expensive. The welcome we had was great, knew who we were, by noting our car registration number. We used this site quite a while ago, and nothing has changed in the shower block, so probably go back to using the Marazion site, much cheaper.

pleasant site

The site is a great location for touring Cornwall but as other people have mentioned the showers are in need of an update and one shower block not enough for the site , we had a disabled pitch adjacent to toilets which wardens very kindly reserved for us but the problem was children rode round all evening starting at 5 until dusk on scooters bikes you name it possible 6/8 of them
