Beach heaven

We love this area of Cornwall so finding this site was a real bonus! We spent 2 weeks here and although the weather was pretty mixed, still managed to spend a good amount of time on Gwithian & Godrevy beaches which are excellent for bodyboarding & surfing. Godrevy car park is free for National Trust members and the food and drinks at the cafe are fantastic. We hope to return to this site very soon.

Lovely site

This is the third year we have stayed on this site and love it. The Wardens are friendly and helpful and always made us feel welcome. The site is close to lots of Cornish delights and trips to the area nothing is too far away. Can walk to the beaches/dunes through the site gate which is secured with a coded lock. We were meant to leave during recent bad weather - very wet and windy for 3 days and nights, we were able to stay put until the winds declined and it was safer to move, thank you wardens. See you next year.

Great site for a beach holiday

Lovely site - usual club standard, good facilities and friendly helpful wardens. Gwithian beach is beautiful and well lifeguarded. It is a good 20 minutes walk through the dunes to get to the beach however there are car parks near the beach access points and the National Trust car park at Godrevy point is free for members.

July,2017 site stay

This site is in a prime location very near one of cornwalls most outstanding beaches and is always busy for that reason. The wardens are friendly and helpful. However the club has been relying on its location to fill this site for far too long and its about time the site was given an extensive upgrade. The site has only one toilet/shower block which gets very busy at peak times and has low water pressure. You have to wait ages for the wash basins to fill up especially when its busy. There are no hard standing or gravel pitches. No all service pitches and no street lighting which means on a dark night you will need a tourch to safely see your way on the site roads to the service block. For years we have been coming to this site and it has not changed at all apart from the new combination lock on the rear access gate. It was supposed to be being extended with a separate exit on to the narrow in places busy beach road but this has not yet even been started. It's the only site we have had a accident on leaving due to the fact the gate is always kept party closed meaning there is only enough room for one car and caravan to either exit or enter. Post office vans are notorious for Trying to squeeze in to the site as you are trying to leave, which requires a sharp left hand turn on to a busy narrow coastal road resulting in the back of your caravan swinging outwards as you leave hitting the side of any vehicle trying to get in at the same time. So caravan and Motorhome club you have been told the faults of this site. Do something about it!!!!

Relaxing stay

Lovely site, beautifully located and very well maintained by friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to wonderful walks on the dunes and close to huge sandy beach. Lots to do in the wider area. Only downside is that toilet/shower facilities are rather dated, though these could be helped by better lighting (the block is rather gloomy inside) and better water pressure in the privacy cubicles.

A site that always exceeds expectations.

We are regular visitors to this fantastic site. There is no need to say too much just that you should visit and enjoy yourselves. The wardens make you feel welcome, are always smiling, helpful and keep the site looking good. Their efforts stand out over the whole site. What more can you ask for with the beach and coast path within essy walking distance.

one week in April

We have not used a club site before and we were very impressed. The facilities may not look brilliant from outside but they were so clean, a pleasure to use. The wardens were friendly, helpful and cheerful. The site itself is so easy to get to and it is within sight of the sea and sand dunes, perfect for walking the dog, we will definitely be going again and again.

Fantastic site

I had mixed feeling about booking this site after reading such negative reviews, but decided I would give it a chance. I am so glad I did this site is fantastic please ignore any negative reviews about this site, after staying a week here I can not understand what people are complaining about, the shower block and toilets were excellent and I was very impressed with the baby and toddler room with a toddler bath making it much easier to bath my 3 year old each evening. the wardens are very friendly and helpful I had cause to call an Ambulance for my daughter on only our first day on the site and the wardens were very helpful in directing them to our pitch. I will be returning to this site for many years to come. Highly recommend.

First time to Cornwall in the motorhome

The site is easy to find. The location is great. Walking distance of the beach. Excellent spot to be based to tour Cornwall. We packed loads into our 2 night stay. It was windy when we were there, but we found a lovely sheltered pitch. The facilities were spotless and the wardens really friendly. We will definitely be back.
