In my opinion this is one of the best sites in the club, under peace and quiet I scored 4 because of the nearby railway, to me it is a pleasure as I like railways,to others maybe not. Under facilities again I scored 4 because on a almost full west side there was 1 shower, 1 toilet, and one washing cubicle locked off. On two mornings I saw people queuing for a shower and a toilet.
Great site suitable for all types.
Situated at the entrance to Country Park, lots of walking, miles of cycling paths, steam railway, bus service, or even a lovely 3 mile walk to Peterborough, golf course on doorstep, lots of pubs within walking distance, fishing, cafe in country park, fish and chips on site 3 times a week. Lovely big, friendly and clean site.
First timers in caravan
We were very impressed with the caravan site as a whole. The staff there were very welcoming and extremely helpful in helping us to manoeuvre and unhitch the caravan when we told them it was our first weekend away and also checking we were okay when they passed by. The children loved the park and surrounding areas.

Great Play park
Great site. Very friendly and supportive staff. This is a great site for kids. The East site has a fantastic play park where kids can play for hours. The wardens had also set out a geo-cache for the kids to follow with a reward at the end.
We will be returning and have recommended to family.
Having the park next door means there is plenty of space to exercise and Parkrun go from walking distance from the site on a Saturday morning.
Best site in the network
Fantastic site situated at the park entrance, doggy paradise with miles of off lead walking in the park, great wildlife, Peterborough city on the doorstep, the people of Peterborough are fortunate to have this park in the city, it is the most beautiful park we have visited, the site is spotless with great wardens who strive to keep it that way and are most helpful, sadly all the wardens are moving to pastures new next year and they will be sorely missed. If you have a four legged friend you must come to Ferry meadows.

Perfect location
We loved the location as we were able to walk our dog, ride our bikes around the park and right into the centre of Peterborough, which is a lovely historic city.
The cathedral is magnificent and the history it contains is impressive.
The site itself was quiet, almost inside the park and amenities were clean and adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it especially for dog owners.

Good to be back
As a former resident of Peterborough I was very familiar with Nene Park, but this was the first time we have visited the site. We received a very warm welcome despite the fact that we had arrived at a busy time. The site is very convenient for all the country park facilities and we recommend both the cafe and restaurant, both of which are a reasonable walk from the site.
The site itself is well up to the standards that we have come to expect from club sites.

Ferry meadows
Good clean site with very friendly people, nice idea selling essential items at reception. Near park good for walking dogs.
Only problem is hum in background from road traffic
Lovely Site and helpful wardens
Very pleasant stay, the wardens were very pleasant and particularly helpful.
The fish and chip van was very good and competitively priced. The toilet blocks were the standard caravan club issue always clean and no queues for the showers..
The motorhome waste water disposal was on a one way road and to empty our water we had to travel the wrong way to line up with the grid.
Although there is a lovely country park directly next to the site I would like to see a dog walk on site.
There are quite a lot of grass pitches on this site and I feel it would benefit from more hard standings being made.
