Very enjoyable

Enjoyed our stay here very much. The site and wardens are excellent and Dulverton is an attractive town. Although the directions regarding the Bridge Inn, car park and shrubbery etc. are correct, an earlier site sign would be very useful for first-timers.

So friendly!

Great little site for couples. Quite central for exploring the fabulous Exmoor countryside. Wonderful quaint town of Dulverton is lovely to buy the local produce from with all it's individual shops (baker, butcher, deli, and greengrocer). Fabulous eateries (we really enjoyed Woods!) Very dog friendly town and lovely townfolk. The site was exceptionally clean and tidy and the Wardens super-friendly! JUST COULDN'T FAULT IT!

Always great to be here.

Have reviewed this site before but after seeing review entitled soft Suffolk folk just had to comment. First of all, the site is great and the really friendly wardens make it perfect. I am sorry that our Suffolk friends left a day early because there is a great dog walk that is perfectly flat that starts from a lane just off the main street. This goes from lane to track to footpath to open fields and you walk alongside the river. It is safe for dogs to be off the lead most of the time and you can walk for as long as you want to. I hope our Suffolk friends come back some time and try it.

Soft Suffolk folk!

We arrived at Exmoor House to a very warm greeting and were given an option of two pitches, which were both hard standing. The park is very tranquil and no-one is very far from the facilities of which there were two blocks I believe. These were immaculate and there was never a queue for anything. It was unfortunate that there was no phone signal but the Caravan Club wifi worked a treat. The pub just 700 yards down the road from the site was great with good food and very friendly staff, our two dogs were always made welcome. The only problem we had was that the circular walk advertised was too hilly for us Suffolk folk who are used to a much flatter terrain and so we left a day early to find more suitable walking with our dogs, no reflection on the site it was lovely and I would not hesitate recommending this site, it is a great location for exploring Exmoor if you are touring. Dulverton is a great town with all the shops you might need right on the doorstep.

A GREAT BREAK IN PEACE

The 8 Days that we spent at this wonderful site were great. From the warm welcome to the smiles.   Lots of places in Dulverton to eat at.  I went to church and was made very welcome.  The site was kept very clean and tidy; with lots of friendly people.  We will be back again in spring to do more walking.  The walk to Tarr Steps is great, with a tea sop on the way if you walk through the countryside. Well done Wardens.
