Happy days

Have just spent a recent weekend at Exmoor House. It's good to arrive to such a warm friendly welcome from the stand-in wardens,Wendy and Graham. The site is well situated to centre of town and very well kept. Will be back!

Lovely location

Beautiful location in the Exe valley and within walking distance of Dulverton village. As with many club sites the "rules" are sometimes too vigorously enforced by some wardens. I wish they would be as rigid with owners of yapping dogs that bark at anything that goes by their pitch and inconsiderate people who play their radio or tv loudly at 07:30 am. Having said that we would definitely go back.

A week away with a duckling!

We spent the last week in September in Dulverton.  This was our third trip to the site, although we had not been back for five years.  The site was beautifully clean and maintained, especially the shower blocks.  It was so good to get out of the shower into a warm space. Wifi access was available at a nominal cost but the instructions for use were not clear.  It is imperative to logout after every session using the logout.com.  We only found this out having talked to a fellow camper. For us the vehicle and the awning on opposite sides of the caravan, as requested by the Warden, made life difficult.  We have two elderly dogs who use our vehicle as an outside kennel and are used to being able to access the awning from the side of the vehicle.  Since the weather was not that warm both dogs ended up cold as they constantly tried to get near us and this was not possible with the van on the opposite side.  Perhaps some flexibility could be given here - we have not had this problem at other sites. We had to bring our 5 week old duckling with us and this caused great interest and amusement,  We can safely say that she thoroughly enjoyed her stay at Exmoor House as so did we. Dulverton itself is really dog friendly and has interesting independent shops.  The Heritage Centre is well worth a long visit.  We partook in a guided walk along the disused railway at Brushford with three of the staff and it was really interesting.  We got to see places no ordinary visitor would see.  If there is a trip going do avail yourselves of it as the staff are so knowledgable and friendly. We will be back of that there is no doubt.

A night in dulverton

Lovely site , great welcome , friendly smile from wardens. Site 5 minutes walk from shops, everything you need, places to eat , gift shops. Not a site for children, more the senior member, or people who want to hill walk . Ideal for dogs.

Dog Lovers Paradise

This is our fourth visit and it just gets more enjoyable every time! The site is impeccable. The Wardens, Terry&Julie , could not be more helpful and friendly. The site is IN Dulverton which is the most dog friendly village we have ever come across. There are several excellent cafes and restaurants serving well cooked fare. Dogs are welcome in all premises. (Apart from the Butchers!?)  Numerous dog walks start from Dulverton negating the need of a car. Another enjoyable visit and we will definitely be returning! Recommended !

Excelent Excelent Amazing

We have just spent seven wonderful days at Exmoor House Club site We will be returning for sure ! The site is situated in Dulverton village with its farmers market and shops However you wouldn't know it as it was really quiet and surrounded by hills and trees you could have been way out on the moors. A river to one side and a brook at the other side. Spotless toilets and showers the cleanest my Wife has ever seen (that really is praise !) What a lovely quiet friendly site cant wait till our next visit

Lovely Site in a Great Location

Stayed here as a stop off on our way to Devon & Cornwall & wished we'd booked for longer. Very nice well kept & friendly site close to the town. Good range of local shops in the town plus a well stocked Co-op. Several pubs & places to eat some of them dog friendly. Didn't get chance to do much walking due to length of stay but appeared to be plenty of walks round about. Will definitely be back.

Good location

Lovely site situated by river and just a short walk into Dulverton lovely village with pubs and eateries. Small site and some pitches are quite tight And some are very shady but lovely location and immaculately kept grounds and facilities.  The wardens were lovely, very friendly and efficient.

Fab, so very easy!

A great site, mobility scooter friendly. Dog walking excellent and all the cafes, pubs and restaurants welcome your hound. We really enjoyed being at this site, the wardens go that extra mile to make you feel welcome and on holiday. Lovely pics of the Dippers in the river . Reinforced my reasons to be in the in the C.C. Thank you.
