Autumn retreat

Great little site set in beautiful countryside, especially at this time of year with glorious autumn colours. Perfect for new motor homers as dog walking, shops and restaurants all in walking distance.

Top Class

A most wonderfully peaceful 4 day stay. Immaculate site and facilities. Wardens very welcoming and helpful. Dulverton is a delight with all the necessary shops etc. The pubs & tea rooms all except dogs & muddy boots. Highly recommend. We will be back for another bit of heaven. Thank you.

Quiet, convenient and colourful

This site is wonderfully peaceful with only the occasional owl hoot in the night and a gentle murmur from the river. At the same time it is only a couple of minutes alkaline to Dulverton village centre where the Coop has all essential grocery requirementso including fresh bread and pastries, plus lots of interesting little shops to explore. Surrounded by beautiful wooded hills and well-marked walks over Exmoor, we were treated to views of the most wonderful autumn colours in three days of hiking. Thanks to the staff for such clean and cosy facilities!

A wonderful autumn .weekend

Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend. The first frost meant that the trees were ablaze with colour a the walks so inviting. The site was absolutely gorgeous and it's location in the centre of Dulverton ideal even if the weather had turned. The adjacent Bridge Inn proved a perfect venue for a good meal both lunchtime and evening. Finally, the wardens worked hard to ensure that everything was perfect. What more could one ask for.

Excellent

Excellent facilities - normal for CC. Dulverton is a lovely picturesque village and dog friendly.  Plenty of walks in the area.

Fabulous location

This is a lovely site. Spotlessly clean and well kept by the two wardens, who were very friendly. Great for dog owners, lots of walks nearby and the local pubs allow dogs. Such a friendly town with everything you need for a nice holiday. Will definitely return.

Excellent site

We stayed at the Exmoor House site whilst passing through Somerset on our way to Watchet. Loved the cleanliness of the site and shower block and the short walk to Dulverton. In fact we are returning for the 'Dulverton by Starlight' event in December as we liked it so much! Throughly recommend.
