Excellent club site

Wardens were very professional, conscientious, courteous and went above and beyond especially when we had to return early home due to unforeseen hospitalisation of a family Member. The grounds and facilities were spotless and could not fault sight or the team. very quiet and peaceful and dog walking facilities excellent.

What a difference!

If you haven't been to this lovely site for a couple of years or so then you should definitely make a return visit. Reviews from before lockdown were less than favourable and for good reason, the site was going downtown rapidly. But now, goodness what a difference! Neatly cut and manicured grass, plant tubs with actual plants and flowers in them, new painted fencing giving a neat and organised flow to the site, spotless facilities, a very well stocked information room with book exchange, a small shop in the neat reception offering basics you might have forgotten. The two tight corners on the site road have also been widened slightly to allow easier manoeuvring around the site for larger outfits. Joe, Sarah, Richard and Marcella, the site team, work tirelessly to keep the site running as smoothly as possible and always looking it's best. The new sign for the dog walk made by Joe always brings a smile when we drive past and it's these little touches that make this lovely site somewhere we return to year after year.

Will definitely be back!

Don’t know where the previous reviewer was staying but even though our stay must have overlapped with theirs we have certainly not found any reason to be unhappy. Yes some of the pitches are a bit mossy but at the end of the day this is a caravan site and not a residential street in a perfectly manicured town. We would be disappointed if the Club insisted that all signs of nature were to be rubbed out. Our stay has been lovely and we will definitely be returning to this great site.

Fantastic Experiance

Having visited the site several times, it is pleasing to see the site improving year on year, over the past few years. We arrived today and we're greeted by a very warm and friendly informative warden, who took time to explain attractions available in the surrounding area, bus service etc.The warden went through a few standard site rules, which was refreshing as on some other sites we have visited, we have been greeted with a grunt and a point in the direction of the pitches. On entering the site it is warming to see how much the site is improving, grass is cut, trees and shrubs seem to be kept tidy now. The Toilets are spotless with some great stats available to pass the time away (and all good points if you care about your environment and your club). Took a walk down to the dog walk and again improved, it used to be full off mud on entry, not anymore. Its fantastic to have this facility as part of the site. The water and waste points are spotless and you can sense the wardens are really trying to turn this site around, all four wardens walked around the site early evening, think this is a fantastic gesture, shows they really care about there customers and there safety. Overall fantastic experiance.

Well deserved positive praise

My husband and I popped in past today for a visit only We stayed on the site last year and we were more than disappointed with the unkept grounds and toilet facilities were not up to usual standard Wow what difference a year makes ! It’s more than evident that Jo and Sarah are not only dedicated managers but extremely hard working to change this site round in such a short time We will be back next season

Suited Our Needs Perfectly

Friendly and informative greeting from the warden who advised on dog walking routes from the site. Located a pitch at the rear of the site which was level and very peaceful providing us with a lovely outlook over the fields. However, a quick look round the site did identify that many of the pitches are sloping - blocks required and it was interesting that not many people had awnings up. We chose to use our own facilities but did make use of the laundry - tokens required which are available from the warden during office hours. Site was immaculate so all credit to the wardens. Dog walk is through a gate directly into the woods - plenty of alternative routes if you choose to walk out of the site and along the pavement towards the village (this route also means you could walk to Culloden Battlefield site). We didn't tour round as much as we would have liked (fuel shortages) but did spend a day on The Black Isle - plenty to see - plus a visit to Fort George and Nairn. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Improving all the time

Great to see the improvements Joe and Sarah have made in such a short time and in the difficult conditions of this year. We visit regularly for location either in transit or simply for a few days away from home. We enjoy the peaceful nature of the area and the convenient adjacent dog facilities. Always a friendly welcome and a word or smile in passing. Great work by the whole team. It’s appreciated guys.

Lovely time

We recently had the pleasure of visiting this site for the first time. The Wardens are great, very helpful and the site kept in very good order. We were lucky to be adopted by a resident Robin, who made himself well at home on our MoHo. We have pictures of him doing his daily inspection of our rig. Highly recommend this site
