This is a lovely attractive site with excellent facilities. The staff were friendly and the site was well maintained. I liked the new motorhome service point which was easy to use. The only criticism was the location was some distance from the nearest villages of Culloden and Balloch and we had to drive to these rather than use our cycles.
Reception was excellent
Booked months ago as part of my Scotland tour. Stayed 4 nights in June and can't praise the Lady in reception enough for her cheerfulness and helpfulness when it came to places to eat, get a newspaper etc.
Lovely site although might just be a bit noisy down near the main road. Toilet block is very modern and clean, all in all highly recommended.
Wonderful site
Had booked in for 3 nights but liked it so much stayed for 5 nights. Lovely site, well kept with spotless facilities. The showers were hot and plentiful and always easy to get in spite of site being busy. Great dog walk in the forest beside the site.only small thing is that the pitches are on a bit of a slope so levellers needed.
Good touring point with being able to head East, West, South and North.
Looking forward to going back.
Not disappointed!
We have just returned from two weeks at Culloden. The weather was typically Scottish but the campsite was lovely, beautifully kept. Facilities were spotless, and warm. Highlight of week was not having to press a button in the shower....luxury! We used the campsite as a base to visit as much of the highlands as possible which we did. Well worth a visit.
Great site, pity about the drainage
Had an enjoyable week here in July 2016. Great location, facilities and staff. The only drawback is the surface water drainage. We had up to an inch of water in the awning twice during the week as on some pitches the water runs off of the road and onto the pitch where it gathers. More than one other pitch had puddles after a heavy shower.
Our return trip
We stayed on this site a few years ago and liked it so decided to book a return visit. We were not disappointed. It was lovely and quiet, the facilities were immaculate and it was well situated for days out. We travelled to Fort Augustus, Falls of Foyers and Brodie Castle also called in At Inverness and the Culloden battlefield. The scenery is spectacular.
The only thing I would have liked is being able to get a newspaper. It was a long trip to the nearest shop.

Very nice site
Had to visit this site after reading the reviews about one way system, Stayed 3 nights instead of the 1 we booked. Great area lots to do nearby also handy for Inverness big shops and cheaper fuel.
No problem with one way system a few tight corners but good practise for the Highland roads. Staff very friendly
great site recommended staying highly
Highland Hospilality
This was a nice site and the staff were very good, even when I had to contact them slightly out of hours, all well received. It is a sloping sight so expect to level your van a fair bit and if your a double axel then navigating round the site is a little tricky and don't see why you need to drive all the way round when there is a road structure to make life easier, but all part of the fun.....I will be back that's for sure.....but
Good well kept site
Stayed for 9 nights. No problems other than the figure 8 one way system which was a relatively small but annoying journey either in or out. Ladies toilet cleaning time clashed with last stop before departure. Friendly Wardens. Near the play area which is at end of figure 8 from poss pitch 60 onwards could be noisy in School hols/Weekends in good weather.

Changes on site
Why did they change the roads on this site. I have visited many times and enjoy this site but feel now depending on where you pitch you have a long way to go. Staff friendly and site clean and tidy though I do ask why caravans with children who play in children's area do not park next to play park.
