A lovely, peaceful site surrounded by trees. The grass areas are well maintained with shrubs and flowers throughout the site. Facilities are spotless. We have been caravanning for many years and have rarely had to ask a warden for any help. However this time we did! We ran out of fuel just as we reached the pitch we wanted. The warden was wonderful and went to the nearest filling station (about 5 miles) and brought back some fuel. Thank you!!
Stopped here on tour of Scotland found the site well maintained with friendly warden the only let down was that the hard standings were a long way off being level.
We stopped here, on our Gretna Green wedding route.
Lovely place, clean, friendly and scenic.
Great play area for Abbey.
Easy reach of all local attractions.
Dropped in here so as to start the North Coast 500 route out of Inverness, and also to visit the Battle of Culloden National Trust of Scotland site. Great caravan park.
This is a clean well run site with spotless modern facilities. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Short drive to city and other visitor attractions are easily accessed. TV good for all channels through hookup. Phone signal poor and no wifi. Will use this site again😊
We only spent one night on this site but would return. The staff were helpful, showers and toilets spotless and would like to return to this lovely site. Didn't quite understand why it was necessary to drive around the site to exit it though!
This is the best facilities we have come across in our short time in our campervan. The toilet / shower block were excellent and had the most room of the ones that we have visited. The pitches are not all flat so bear that in mind. We had a restless night, as said we are novices. The dog walks into the woods can be as long and varied as you want so a thumbs up from us.
This was our first visit with our new Motorhome. Site was clean and tidy with the showerblock that can only be described as excellent. Although we were there early season, I get the feeling that it is always like this. The wardens were extremely helpful to us'first timers' so no complaints there.
If I had to be picky, then I would only say that , as we have a larger Motorhome, when it came to emptying our waste water over the grid in the Motorhome service point, I had to turn in an unoccupied pitch in order to get my waste pipe in the right place. This is easy if the site is quiet, but would be impossible if the site was full due to the one way system. None of the waste points in the service point were in the right place if you reversed on as you were supposed to do, and I have a British built Motorhome, a tribute 736
This is really a minor inconvenience but could become a problem more if on a longer visit.
