Lovely Stay

We have just stayed on this site for 6 nights and have had a wonderful stay, firstly the weather was good, sunny but frosty mornings, we visited lots of places of interest, the beaches, distillery etc. Inverness is 6 miles away and has everything. The site is exceptionally well managed, the wardens are extremely friendly ,helpful and always working and  the toilet block is immaculate. Our dogs loved the dog walk which is on site in the woods . We recommend this site highly and will visit again.

Out of the way

Maybe out the way but amazing country side with a very warm sense about it with a great layout usual brilliant club facilities and an amazing information room, love the nearby walks and the battle field has a great museum some good shops close by busstop right out side, one of my best memory's of staying in scotland

Highland slopes

A very nice site that is well looked after, it feels remote although Inverness is only a short drive away, no eating places within walking distance and nearly all the pitches are sloping but still a great site which is ideal as a gateway to the northern isles and on the doorstep to the Cairngorm range.

Off the beaten track.

A great site, albeit a little remote. None the worse for it if you want peace and quiet. Excellently located for the Culloden Battlefield experience which is highly recommended. Bear in mind that this is the farthest north Caravan Club site open during and after October, so be warned if, like us, you are planning a late holiday in Northern Scotland. Check out CLs and commercial sites in advance if you can................or wild-camp like a good many folk we spotted were obliged to do. John & Sharon K.

A good Scottish Site

Customary high standard delivered. Good bus service into town early in the evening but taxi required for return. Site was quite busy when we visited mid September. Large expanse of grass land in the centre nice but mebbe could be effectively used if not for more pitches then some imaginative landscaping - just a thought.

Great site and staff

We were made most welcome on arrival with the wardens knowing all out needs from a single phonemail several days prior. I needed a life to a game on the night of arrival and low and behold the wards provided it! Really personal service and could recommend to anyone

Culloden Moor

The wardens were very helpful and obliging. Nice and spacious pitches, great and clean toilet block. Lots of places of interest nearby At night you could hear the (fast) cars driving on the road next to the Site, that was the only demerit.

Needs Wifi!!

Lovely site, immaculate facilities and pleasant wardens. But with Inverness just 8 miles away we were very surprised there was no wifi, we have subscribed to the Caravan Club wifi and finding a lot of the time we are not able to use it, not sure what we are paying for!!

Excellent site great facilites

Very helpful wardens, even with unusual requests. We stayed on the site for two weeks organising our house move and getting to know the area. The facilities are excellent and with a bus stop by the entrance you can be in the centre of Inverness in 30 minutes.

Fabulous!

Just returned having spent a fabulous week at this site. Beautifully maintained site and a credit to the wardens. Facilities are lovely and modern and spotlessly clean. Little shop for minor bits and pieces as per most sites. Well stocked information hut with usual leaflets, timetables etc. Site is gently sloping. We chose the higher level as a good view across the valley, although further away from play park. Some of the lower pitches are fairly close to road. Inverness is a great location and you can easily reach areas such as wester Ross and Sutherland if you choose too, but loads to do locally if you don't want to go too far. All in all a great stay made even better by glorious October weather!
