Great site

My wife and I have just spent two weeks here. The wardens are very friendly, helpful and always busy keeping everything to a high standard. If you have a caravan it is ideal to use as a base for trips further into the Highlands on the narrow scenic roads. Our only comment would be that you need plenty of levelling blocks on most of the pitches, some slope in both directions. As we saw plenty of units struggling to level up with the ramps/blocks that they had brought with them, ideally the pitches themselves could do with levelling.

Very peaceful

We stayed for 3 nights as its a good base. There's a bus service to Inverness, but check the timetable as there are no late buses. The shop has very limited supplies so stock up and there are no local shops nearby. Very helpful wardens especially when I had an electrical problem. A good quiet site.

Quiet peacefull location

Visited here mid March so site was quite quiet. Good arrivals area so you do not feel pressured to move out the way. Facilities were spotless and the site was well looked after by the friendly wardens. A bit far out of town but bus stop almost at the gate.

My kind of Site but the dogs!!!!!

I spent a fortnight here and it was a wonderful site to explore the top end of Scotland from. There was easy access and the staff could not have been more helpful. Was there a downside? yes one, not the sites fault but I have never been on a site where there were so many dogs!!!! There were a lot of caravans/ motorhomes with multiple dog occupancy. While I was at Culloden there were three caravans which each had SIX dogs in and more to the point one caravan was there where owners had gone out for the day and the dog was just left to bark all day irritating everyone. THE CARAVAN CLUB has got to grips with this issue. When I approached the warden on the subject they said there hands were tied and caravan club had made no restrictions. Just an observation but friends of ours stayed close by at another site. They charge per dog staying on the site. Guess what there were only a few well behaved dogs and there owners to be seen

Wonderful site and fantastic customer service

We stayed here for three nights during our tour of Scotland in September. This holiday was our first time staying at Club sites and I have to say we were very impressed. This site was an ideal location for visiting the battlefield, various castles and Loch Ness. There were excellent facilities, which were very well managed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but had an issue with the caravan as we were due to leave. One of the corner steadies came away as we were winding it up and with the help of another member found that the split-pin had come away. As my husband has dementia I was a little stressed with the situation but Ian, the warden, came to our rescue and helped with a temporary fix to enable us to continue our travels. Cannot thank him and the other club members enough and we were able to continue and enjoy the rest of our holiday! Hope to return again in the future.

Lovely Site

Stayed over for two nights on our tour of Scotland. This site was large but had plenty of privacy between the bays. The toilet block was well sited for all to access on the park. We found some of the electric points were quite a long way from the pitch and you would need a very long cable. We originally were on one pitch and the people next door were very loud playing music late at night and did not park their vehicle along side the caravan which I know is a fire safety concern. I went to locate a warden but could not access one at 9.30 at night. I asked the following day if they did a sweep of the park at night and was told they did. I was surprised if that was the case that they hadn't asked them to move the vehicle and to turn down the music at 10.30. The site is located in a good place for Culloden and shopping.

Excellent welcoming site

We had four non-consecutive nights at this beautiful site. Staff were wonderful and the site (showers, toilets, grounds etc) is kept clean and immaculate. This was our first experience of a club site as we prefer smaller sites, but it was wonderful. Can highly recommend this site!
