Brilliant for capital

Because of roadworks this took us a while to get to ,but definitely use the site directions rather than Satnav. Bus just outside,no.3 every 15 mins or less goes straight into Trafalgar Square 24 hours a day.surprisingly green site with excellent dog walking in enormous park right next door. Very friendly fellow dog walkers ,given this is London was a pleasant surprise.Brilliant wardens we left a pair of much loved boots on the pitch and they are keeping them till our next visit on remembrance weekend .

a weekend treat

arriving late afternoon to be met by very helpful staff was a good start to the weekend. A definite site to return to. Great place to meet relations for the week end and do some site seeing in the city of London. Returning to the comforts of the site for a relaxing evening. The site is clean and all the staff very helpful. Bus route straight into the City every 10 mins or so. All ready to book again next year.

Perfect site to visit London

Stayed here twice now to visit London theatres as a birthday treat in November for the last two years  The wardens here are very friendly and friendly making sure the site is kept very well.  The facilities are spotless and it is a reasonably peaceful haven to come back to after the excitement of the capital. Excellent bus service every 10 minutes into town taking between 30 minutes or an hour depending on the time of day. It converts to a night bus at midnight running every 30 minutes (although after a few drinks it feels must shorter ??) I will be booking again for next year.

Great site for exploring London

This site feels surprisingly rural considering your bang in the middle of central London. Apart from a bit of road noise, the site was quiet & beautifully maintained & the facilities were spotless. The Location is fantastic, we looked into staying in a hotel.... once we found out about this site, we will never stay in a London hotel again when we visit the capital. You are literally 10 minutes walk from the train station, which is just a few stops from Victoria. You are from there on the Underground. The number 3 bus goes to regent street & the bus park is around a 5 minute walk away & took about an hour (not the fastest, but great for seeing the sights as you go past Big Ben & the Houses of Parliament). We took our daughter to the winter wonderland @ Hyde park, getting there from the caravan park via trains was pretty quick. You are also pretty close to lots of restaurant & pubs, there is also a Sainsbury's close by. We really enjoyed our stay & will definitely be returning,  hopefully in the near future. Definitely a great place to spend a city break & great to be able to stay in my own accommodation.

superb

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The site is excellent and saved us a fortune on hotel costs! Forget the train, the NO 3 bus is superb and takes you into the centre of London and even runs all night! IMPORTANT - if driving from the west don't follow your SAT NAV if your outfit is wider than 6' 6" as there are metal gates you WON'T fit through!! We only just made it in our converted peugeot expert. Follow the directions provided by the caravan club.

Good site in perfect place for London

We have stayed here several times, the latest in late November 2016. Ideal for visiting London centre, and seeing nearby relatives. Remarkably quiet, given that it's surrounded by a busy road - being down in a dip obviously removes most noise - and we were hardly aware of the traffic. Easy access by bus to centre of London and a number of other places, but only 10 - 20 minutes walk to several overground stations for other areas. Worth noting that bus passes apparently work at all hours on London buses, unlike most areas where they only operate after 9.30 am. Site well-kept, facilities good and clean - and warm, which in November is important! I seldom give 5 *, so 4 * is a good mark!

A fabulous stay

We returned to Crystal Palace, one our favourite sites week commencing 21 November 2016. This site never disappoints, the location lending itself for easy access to London on the number 3 bus across the road and also access to Crystal Palace National Sports Centre located behind the site if you book prior to going on payasugym.com From the craziness of London traffic you suddenly find yourself in an oasis surrounded by trees anss squirrels and can't help but stand and stare at the huge mast that towers above. The wardens are all lovely and helpful as ever. Thank you again for a great stay. Andy and Julie.
