Excellent Site

Following the CC directions, we found the site without difficulty receiving a great welcome. The Park is close by and the No 3 bus providing a regular one hour service to Central London. All in all, an excellent site.

WE WILL BE BACK

Not being "city lovers" but wanting to see the sites of London is what makes Crystal Palace club site a brilliant choice. On arrival we were greeted by one of the extremely helpful wardens who after giving us our pitch No. and general information about the facilities told us all about the public transport system into the City. We used the bus service each day and being every 7 - 9 mins and directly into the center of London was a real benefit. The rail station is just a little further to walk from the site but we found the bus ideal for our needs. Ok, the toilet building was a "little tired" but scrupulously clean so even if I did give 4's all round it really is a very good, friendly & well positioned site - and as I said "we will be back".

Excellent site

Having had a long journey the lady warden could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She gave us all the advice needed to have a fantastic holiday visiting London. The bus into London is a few hundred metres from the site entrance, and a further short walk you are arrive at the restaurants, shops and pubs of Crystal Palace. I heard that the site maybe closing in 2018 as the licence is up for renewal, I truly hope the site remains open as I have every intention of visiting the site in the near future.

Hard ground

Having got the caravan sited trying to put the awning up became a major problem as the ground was like concrete. Went to reception and was offered new pegs at 70 p each . Took one first to try as I would have needed at least 25 pegs for the Awning took it back to reception Bent like a Bannana so I was moved to a Grass pitch no problem putting up the awning . Other than that very nice site will be going back but only on grass pitches .

Fantastic welcome from staff

A warm welcome to both grandchildren and ourselves from fantastic wardens. Site kept immaculate even at the height of summer when very busy.  Super easy to access central London via bus, literally on the doorstep. Can't wait to visit again.  Enjoy the large park of Crystal Palace adjacent to the site, great for walking or even cycling.

Caravanners "BEWARE" Peg 16

I spent 5 nights on peg 16 under a huge tree and after this my awning was black stained beyond belief due to sticky sap dropping. caravan and car looked awful and took some scrubbing, someone thought I had been there 5 months. Wardens did what they could but caravan club have washed their hands of me and said it had not happened before, at least their hands are clean. refused to clean my awning so will cost £170 but will cost them a lot more in lost bookings. YOU have been warned.

Great Site for Access to London

We stayed at this site for a week and found it to be very convenient, very clean and no excessive noise. Albeit the site is in London so there is noise. Staff was very helpful (borrowed jumper cables) and other campers were too, (another camper quickly came to assist in starting my motor home). I would recommend this site without hesitation as a great base to see London.

Fantastic Site

This site is so well placed for visiting central London. It is clean and very well kept with great facilities. The staff are very helpful if you need any information. The bus stop is so close with the no 3 every 10 mins only taking 50 minutes and you are in Trafalgar Square. Crystal Palace Park is right on your doorstep and is lovely with a boating lake, cafe and kids playground. Within the park is a large sports centre with an Olympic sized swimming pool if you're feeling energetic.  Crystal Palace has lots of nice bars and restaurants and shops and is walking distance from the site. We have been here 3 times and will definitely be back we love it. There is never a lack of something to do.
