A real Oasis in busy SE London!

A really wonderful site in a beautiful parkland setting. The staff are helpful, friendly and hard-working. Pitches near the main road can be affected by the noise of passing emergency service vehicle sirens - traffic on CP Parade is often busy. I caravan on my own and find the facilities excellent.

Weekend break october 2016

I really dont want to write a review for this site as it is so difficult to get on the site because its so blooming popular. The staff and other campers are really friendly. All of the facilities are excellent and the great bus route means once here you can leave the car on site. Even better theres an all night bus so you're not stranded after a good night in the city.crystal palace folk are also very friendly with good choice of local dog friendly pubs. So if i were you i would try elsewhere and leave a pitch for me! Don't have kids so have guessed it will be fine. Theres a massive park at the back of the site and a fairground just down the road.??

Excellent Site

Following the CC directions, we found the site without difficulty receiving a great welcome. The Park is close by and the No 3 bus providing a regular one hour service to Central London. All in all, an excellent site.

WE WILL BE BACK

Not being "city lovers" but wanting to see the sites of London is what makes Crystal Palace club site a brilliant choice. On arrival we were greeted by one of the extremely helpful wardens who after giving us our pitch No. and general information about the facilities told us all about the public transport system into the City. We used the bus service each day and being every 7 - 9 mins and directly into the center of London was a real benefit. The rail station is just a little further to walk from the site but we found the bus ideal for our needs. Ok, the toilet building was a "little tired" but scrupulously clean so even if I did give 4's all round it really is a very good, friendly & well positioned site - and as I said "we will be back".

Excellent site

Having had a long journey the lady warden could not have been more welcoming and helpful. She gave us all the advice needed to have a fantastic holiday visiting London. The bus into London is a few hundred metres from the site entrance, and a further short walk you are arrive at the restaurants, shops and pubs of Crystal Palace. I heard that the site maybe closing in 2018 as the licence is up for renewal, I truly hope the site remains open as I have every intention of visiting the site in the near future.

Hard ground

Having got the caravan sited trying to put the awning up became a major problem as the ground was like concrete. Went to reception and was offered new pegs at 70 p each . Took one first to try as I would have needed at least 25 pegs for the Awning took it back to reception Bent like a Bannana so I was moved to a Grass pitch no problem putting up the awning . Other than that very nice site will be going back but only on grass pitches .
