a great site

A great site to use to visit London. The bus ran from just outside the site. The wardens were exceptionally helpful - many thanks!! The pitch was level and well separated from the next giving good privacy. The facilities were clean and secure Good site for us (camper van) although the ground for an awning was a bit of a challenge - even for hard-ground pegs!!

Excellent Stay

Very pleasant stay with very friendly and helpful wardens. Ideal location for site seeing and shopping trips into central London. Good bus and overground train availability.

Shame about the noise.

Good site as always and great wardens. Shame our nights were disturbed by workmen using this site with black hand painted caravan leaving for work at 5am or earlier. When we left the site to visit family and we returned to the site very very late we stayed on the late night arrivals pitch as not to disturb other members, it seems to be the norm now to allow traffic in and out these club sites and ruins other members holidays. This has happened on every club site we have used this year.

Finally got a pitch

I have tried many times to got on the site over the last few years. Actually glad we have moved to a motor home the journey there from North Wales was a difficult one, caravan would have been more nerve wrecking. Definitely using a map rather than sat nav was easier in the end. Site excellent if dated. We actually used the overground more which was great for us as our daughter lives Highbury direct route and the walk through the park was lovely. Very interesting area.

Great Location

Stayed at this site a few times, it's a great location as it's easy to get into the City. The facilities really are looking "tired" and could do with an update. The Wardens were friendly and helpful.

A real Oasis in busy SE London!

A really wonderful site in a beautiful parkland setting. The staff are helpful, friendly and hard-working. Pitches near the main road can be affected by the noise of passing emergency service vehicle sirens - traffic on CP Parade is often busy. I caravan on my own and find the facilities excellent.

Weekend break october 2016

I really dont want to write a review for this site as it is so difficult to get on the site because its so blooming popular. The staff and other campers are really friendly. All of the facilities are excellent and the great bus route means once here you can leave the car on site. Even better theres an all night bus so you're not stranded after a good night in the city.crystal palace folk are also very friendly with good choice of local dog friendly pubs. So if i were you i would try elsewhere and leave a pitch for me! Don't have kids so have guessed it will be fine. Theres a massive park at the back of the site and a fairground just down the road.??
