Great Access for London

We stayed for three nights to go to see a London show. Lovely welcome, great pitch right near the Crystal Palace mast. We both found the washrooms faultless - clean tidy and well maintained. Enjoyed the local facilities, especially the park. Bus ride to London was so easy. We felt very spoilt. Looking forward to our next visit in May.

Great site

Great site , bus number 3 is very near to the site and goes right into Central London ,it can take an hour but for site seeing it's fantastic. The staff are friendly and very helpfull and gave us as much information as we needed and more . We will return

Brilliant position but a little tired

Visited this site for the first time on February 30th.It is in a very good position for access via No. 3 bus to central London. The wardens were very helpful but we thought that the quality of the site was let down by the tired facilities. Washrooms closed off and toilet and shower door locks not working etc. Pitch allocation put us in a dark corner of the site , which for the 4 nights in Winter was ok ,as we and our neighbours were away all day ,but wouldn't liked to have stayed any longer in Summer or with children.

Good location

We travelled up to Crystal Palace for an anniversary break. Excellent location with good transport links to the City via the number 3 bus not far from the site. Good stroll to Crystal Palace village with restaurants and a good sized Sainsbury's for those essentials.Welcoming wardens. We have not given the 5 stars that most appear to have because of the aircraft noise, not the sites fault but always good to know if you are a light sleeper. Also the showers block is a little dated compared to other club sites we have stayed on.However, lots of hot water and very clean. Do follow the clubs directions to the site as London is truly a very busy place to drive your prides and joy.

First timers in London

Stayed over last weekend and found this site absolutely brilliant. So good infact that we booked for another weekend immediately. Access into the city is really good, the overland train is perfect. As for the site itself, we were placed near to the toilet block which was beautifully clean. Our only slight negative was that we found the recycling a bit confusing but hey, if that's the only concern. Thank you

we love this site

Highly recommended. Excellent facilities which are very clean with no annoying extra charges for showers. Separate cubicles for washbasins are an additional plus, providing a welcome bit of privacy. Despite the proximity to busy roads the site is relatively peaceful, the proximity to a large park and lots of trees meant we were woken by bird song rather than traffic noise. Reasonably priced too, especially considering it's London.

Brilliant for capital

Because of roadworks this took us a while to get to ,but definitely use the site directions rather than Satnav. Bus just outside,no.3 every 15 mins or less goes straight into Trafalgar Square 24 hours a day.surprisingly green site with excellent dog walking in enormous park right next door. Very friendly fellow dog walkers ,given this is London was a pleasant surprise.Brilliant wardens we left a pair of much loved boots on the pitch and they are keeping them till our next visit on remembrance weekend .

a weekend treat

arriving late afternoon to be met by very helpful staff was a good start to the weekend. A definite site to return to. Great place to meet relations for the week end and do some site seeing in the city of London. Returning to the comforts of the site for a relaxing evening. The site is clean and all the staff very helpful. Bus route straight into the City every 10 mins or so. All ready to book again next year.

Perfect site to visit London

Stayed here twice now to visit London theatres as a birthday treat in November for the last two years  The wardens here are very friendly and friendly making sure the site is kept very well.  The facilities are spotless and it is a reasonably peaceful haven to come back to after the excitement of the capital. Excellent bus service every 10 minutes into town taking between 30 minutes or an hour depending on the time of day. It converts to a night bus at midnight running every 30 minutes (although after a few drinks it feels must shorter ??) I will be booking again for next year.
