First time out with a new Motorhome

Not been to Fairoakes for a long time and in that time a much improved site. Ideal location for visiting the surrounding area with good public transport if you don't want the hastle of driving. Cheshire Oakes 15 minutes walk and Sainsbury's for tor the items you forgot or not in the site shop Great staff and immaculate toilet block. Oh and the new Autosleepers Motorhome was great. Still think the new logo looks like a Walls Ice Cream sign

Birthday weekend

Just returned from fabulous 3 night stay, Perfect location - lots to see and do. We were able to park the car and travel by public transport. Perfect shopping experience for those who enjoy classy retail therapy easy 10 minute walk. Nearby bus route into Chester and Liverpool - both great days out and of course you cannot go to Chester and not experience the Zoo! We decided to taxi there cheaper than the bus and more convenient. Wardens extremely helpful when trying to decide a good quality place to celebrate our friends birthday - they even made the reservation for us and booked a taxi. Needless to say we will be back

6 days at Chester!

We have just returned from this fabulous site today! What a find! Quite the nicest and most helpful wardens we've ever encountered. Most luxurious and cleanest toilet block we've ever seen! Pleasant open site convenient to outlet centre, Wirral Peninsula, North Wales, Liverpool and of course Chester. Anything not so good? Well there is some noise from surrounding motorways, but it didn't bother us and the dog walk needs a bit of work, but this is on-going! Can't wait to go back.

More than a Weekend

Having been staying at this site for years our stay last week refreshed our opinion of the site as it has a lot to offer, the new wardens have already made the site more welcoming and chiled, the site is tidy and orderly. The Hungry horse on the aporoach lane has good food and the Wednesday curry night is really good value, the approach lane from the junction to the site requires care as some vehicles are inconsiderate to pedestrians, the sooner the 30mph speed restriction signs are installed the better. Lovely site, we'll be back soon.

Two night stay

New and very clean toilet and shower block. Level site just a short distance from the M56 and close to an 'outlet' retail centre and Chester. Would recommend.

Great Location

Great location but I'm sure it's called Chester Fairoaks Caravan and Motorhome Club Site now ( come on Web Team catch up ) and yes there may be some road noise but then you're only two minutes from the motorway. Chester is a short drive or bus ride away and the shopping outlet is always a must and lots of places to eat on the doorstep. The site is very good with a lovely toilet block. My only gripe would be how some members treat the amenities and drive across the boggy grass, we were there over a fortnight with hurricane Doris and it rained most of the time, the wardens worked tirelessly to keep the site tidy for us all so please respect it. Would definitely recommend it.

Better drainage needed

Stayed her for 4 nights in Feb half term. Shower block nice and new. Full site meant cold shower one night. Fab location for visiting massive designer outlet up the road. Pitches and drainage an issue here. Some flooded badly leaving people cut off! Several more had large lakes on them. Needs drainage improving as a matter of urgency but I'm sure it won't get done. It was just as bad 10 years ago in August.

Wonderful site

We spent a lovely few nights here recently. We booked in for 3 and kept extending it we were enjoying ourselves too much. The site is well kept although it does get waterlogged on some pitches. The toilet facilities were newly refurbished and spotless. The road noise was not too bad and did not really bother us too much, and we don't live near a main road. It is well positioned for visiting lots of places of interest, shame a lot of those were still closed on our visit. We did spend a wet but enjoyable day in Chester and had a guided tour of the Cathedral which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and approachable. Look forward to visiting again in the not too distant future.
