Good Site

We have used this site a number of times over recent years, it is good to hear that refurbishment will take place during 2015 but can't understand why it should take so long.  Wardens very pleasant and as ever helpful. Due to the proximity of the M53/M56 this is not the quietest site you will stay at but gets 10/10 for location and local amenities. Very enjoyable canal walk Caughall to outskirts of Chester. Certainly will be back when it reopens.

Christmas away.

Our first visit here. Chosen for Xmas break. Not a large site overall but always felt spacious even with a good few on. Warden 1st rate. Polite and helpful. Site closing early Jan 2015 for 6 month overhaul. Needed really as this is the most shabby of any site we have used. Loo block really dated but I understand it is being internally gutted and redesigned so no doubt it will be up to scratch soon. For the site to be shut and not earning for 6 months we hope for big improvements to whole site as drainage is not good for an open all year site. Also the pitches are in need of work. They are spacious though. This would be a winge if not down for work so will see how it shapes up in summer. The 'very near' Outlet park is large just a short walk from site but you may need the car to bring back all your new goodies. We found some amazing bargains being so close to Xmas. (eg; £45 ladies hooded top had for £8) certainly started to fill van space up by the time we called a financial halt! Canal walks close. North Wales a stones throw away so loads to amuse you if cities not your thing. Chester well worth a look though. We certainly will return.
