The Perfect Site

We were very pleased to stay here once again at Fairoaks. It was a nice surprise to see that the amenities had been upgraded. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great size pitches and immaculately kept toilets / shower block. The site is on the doorstep to lots of attractions including Blue Planet Aquarium,Chester Zoo,and Cheshire Oaks retail park. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Good Site

Just spent a few days at this site, excellent facilities and friendly staff. There is plenty to do for couples and families and very local to the site too. A good bus service from the Designer Outlet gets you to Chester and Liverpool and various other places, handy for us m/homers.There are 3 pubs within 10/15 minute walk, depending how quick you are on your "pins".The walk on the City Wall in Chester was very good, some nice views,I didn't know that the race course was so close to the city centre. This is another site we will return to.

our stay

very nice site I requested a disabled pitch as im in a wheelchair. on arrival we were given a pitch opposite the toilet block although being near the toilets was good. the pitch was certainly not wheelchair friendly as the hard standing was about 4inch deep stone making it impossible to move freely in a wheelchair. the site itself is very good just need to sort DISABLED PITCHES OUT.

Short but sweet

We stayed at Chester Fairoaks for two nights on our return journey from Wales. the site was clean and well presented, I was told by the warden that there was a park and ride service to Chester, where I was planning to visit on my one full day. unfortunately I could not find the bus stop for tis service, so I did not get to Chester. Having said that, I will go back again for a longer stay and take in some of the cities near bye. Very peaceful two nights.

1st visit

Excellent position from motorways, only 3 mins from motoryway, Excellent facilities after revamp. Close to Fairoaks shopping Centre, probably best if you walk to (10 mins) parking on weekends very busy. Good local Pubs for lunch etc. And the wonderful city of Chester is 10 mins drive away. Will be returninghere wonderful place to stay when in this area. Only one thing to metion though on leaving the park if you need to turn right at the main road to get on Motorway take care and leave after 9am, this is a duel carriage way and gets very busy with fast moving cars.

Great location for visiting many places

This is a lovely clean site with new toilet block. It's within walking distance of three pubs that all serve food, and also the outlet and bus stops that travel into Chester and also the zoo. Would definitely recommend and return to.

Almost perfect

Stayed for one night stop-over on journey to Scotland. Very convenient for visiting Chester using park and ride from Chester zoo. Very friendly and helpful wardens, nice quiet site with spotless facilities as you would expect on Caravan club site. Only down side was the unpleasant, acrid smell from the nearby sewage treatment works approx. 1 mile NE of the site. Otherwise perfect for visiting Chester and the local attractions.
