Great site but Outlet might prove costly

One of our favourite sites. A typical club site laid out on a flat grassy area without being regimented. Easy to reach and as usual well run with most pitches being hard standing and a good size. The pitches are not all in regimented rows which suits us. Easy to get bus into Chester or Liverpool and huge Designer Outlet Centre very convenient but the savings there can be costly if you are not careful. There was some background noise from what we assume was a factory although we never saw it and the roads but not severe. For children there is a playground hidden in the trees. The site is very busy though so staying after 12.00 is not usually possible.

Family Time

This site is one of our favourites and the recent upgrade to the toilet block and play area are fantastic. For those planning a day in Chester there is a park and ride at the Zoo, 10 mins from the site.  Parking is free and £2 per adult (up to two under 16's free per adult) return on the bus. There are a few spaces for motorhomes. For a treat try Hickory's American diner down by the river.Last bus back to zoo is about 7.0pm.

Really Nice Site

We stayed at Fairoaks in at the end of July 2015, this is a very nice site, staff are very friendly and helpful, but also leave you to it which is great, very peaceful site, I liked the fact you were able to pick which pitch you wanted found this to be really good. The shower and toliet blocks are excellent and very clean and tidy at all times, the other facilities on site are also excellent and kept very clean and tidy. I did think that the site was in walking distance to Chester City, but it is a bit out, however you can walk to Chessire Oaks Outlet which is about 10 to 15 mins alot a shops here and the supermarket which was handy, there are excellent bus services from here into Chester, Chester Zoo and Liverpool, the buses are around every 15 mins and run late into the evening so no problems at all. I would recommend this site to all visitors we had no issues with the site at all.

The Perfect Site

We were very pleased to stay here once again at Fairoaks. It was a nice surprise to see that the amenities had been upgraded. Very friendly and welcoming staff, great size pitches and immaculately kept toilets / shower block. The site is on the doorstep to lots of attractions including Blue Planet Aquarium,Chester Zoo,and Cheshire Oaks retail park. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Good Site

Just spent a few days at this site, excellent facilities and friendly staff. There is plenty to do for couples and families and very local to the site too. A good bus service from the Designer Outlet gets you to Chester and Liverpool and various other places, handy for us m/homers.There are 3 pubs within 10/15 minute walk, depending how quick you are on your "pins".The walk on the City Wall in Chester was very good, some nice views,I didn't know that the race course was so close to the city centre. This is another site we will return to.

our stay

very nice site I requested a disabled pitch as im in a wheelchair. on arrival we were given a pitch opposite the toilet block although being near the toilets was good. the pitch was certainly not wheelchair friendly as the hard standing was about 4inch deep stone making it impossible to move freely in a wheelchair. the site itself is very good just need to sort DISABLED PITCHES OUT.

Short but sweet

We stayed at Chester Fairoaks for two nights on our return journey from Wales. the site was clean and well presented, I was told by the warden that there was a park and ride service to Chester, where I was planning to visit on my one full day. unfortunately I could not find the bus stop for tis service, so I did not get to Chester. Having said that, I will go back again for a longer stay and take in some of the cities near bye. Very peaceful two nights.
