WOW

What a fabulous site and wonderful wardens. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our 5 night stay. The site was very well kept thanks to the hard working wardens.Traffic lights on the approach were a wonderful idea . A walk up to Inchree restaurant was well worth the walk even in the rain. We had a lovely inexpensive meal and the dog could come with us as long as we ate in the bar, not a problem. we will definitely come back only wish we could have stayed longer.

Peaceful and spectacular

A wonderful site we have stayed several times, sadly we never make it in time to get a loch side pitch but the whole site is laid out beautifully and all the facilities are usual Caravan Club first class. Walks from the site are great just across the main road is a lovely walk into the hills to a spectacular waterfall. Well worth more that the night halt we had on our last stop this week.

"We will be back!"

Stayed for 2 nights Sept 2016. Having trawled all the reviews and media clips - decided to see for ourselves what all the fuss was about! Awesome. Lovely. Stunning location. Quiet. Secure site. Wardens so friendly, welcoming and helpful, even apologised unnecessarily that all Loch side pitches taken. Made no difference as being at the 'back row' pitches were elevated - so did actually have view of the Loch. Facilities were first rate, very clean and efficient. Showers had the 2 all important controls. One to switch them on and then off, the other to adjust the temperature - and unlimited water. Hair dryer pleased my partner as was free of charge. Chemical toilet and grey waste disposal points spotless. Job done - what are you waiting for?

Beautiful

We were lucky enough to stay here last Sunday night, sadly only for one night but will certainly be back. Very friendly and helpful staff and facilities were spotless. When we arrived it was. Dry wet with very little to sea beyond the Lough however on Monday the skies were clear and the views are stunning.

Disappointed!

Bunree caravan park is a great site for able bodied people. The park is well laid out and the wardens are lovely. The facilities were also spotless. The downside for us was, because I am disabled, I couldn't leave the park using my mobility scooter because of the cattle grids at the exit and the gates were locked. They were very narrow anyway, so even if they were unlocked, I wouldn't have been able to get my scooter through them. If I could have got out, there was nowhere me to safely go for a walk.

"Pure Heaven" in the Highlands

Just back from a week at Bunree. We arrived early and got a fabulous loch side site. The scenery is out of this world. Watching the tall ships etc. float past on their way towards the Caledonian Canal is a sight to behold. One criticism is that one morning the boiler was obviously on the blink. Would have been nice for an "out of order" sign to be placed, rather than realising too late there was no hot water. My husband fortunately spotted people working on the problem so didnt end up naked and freezing in the shower as I did!!! One huge recommendation - eat at the Laroch in Ballachuilish (10 mins. drive) - avoid Loch Leven Hotel!!!. Laroch is simply divine with lovely friendly hosts - could not fault it and went twice in the week we visited. Loved the Ben Nevis Gondolas, Jacobite Steam Train, Glen Coe and all the numerous walks we undertook. Lovely serene relaxing holiday and we even got some sunshine!!! Definitely will return. Great site but heres a hint for you

First off - amazing site, great wardens, friendly welcome and stay. Couple of hints though - like many CC sites not great signage from the road and the post code takes you down a single track one along from the site - whixh handily has the equivalent of a roundabout at the end - if you want a front row on the loch view then dont book a pitch for an awning, as relegated to second row onwards and finally if you chose to park on the higher back row pitches they are actually a bit tight lengthwise - my 575 coachman was pretty much as far back as it could go and the towhitch wasn't that far off the road and ps theres a small stream runs at the back so if its wet putting down your rear steadies take care or get wet......having said all that will return

Highland gem.

Great site excellent Wardens couldn'the ask for more helpfull people.views mind boggling...Only down side was some people have no manners it's nice to be nice. So if someone says good morning at least nod your head..especially when a warden who have the sole purpose of making your stay memorable. Other wise fantastic.

So where do the Highlands start?

If you want a holiday in the Highlands of Scotland then this is one of the ideal spots to visit. With the UK's highest mountain just 10 miles away you can cycle to it, climb it, cycle back to rest the weary muscles. Lots of bikes about when we were there but not being used all that much, nice to see people being keen though. Glencoe is just down the road, go over the bridge where the old ferry used to be or take a trip round the head of the Loch, Glencoe is magnificent and lots of parking places to view the panorama's. You can chill-out in this place. Lovely walk at glen Nevis but be prepared for a bit of slippery pathway. The camp site is so good with lovely vistas and a great café/restaurant close by if you want a fish supper or WHY. I recommend this place to stay .
