We only stayed at Bunree for 1 night as we were travelling the NC500 (anticlockwise), but as it was mid October, a lot of good sites were closed. Bunree was everything we were looking forward to - friendly staff, level pitches, good motorhome servicing and a lovely clean and roomy toilet & shower block.
The views were just wonderful and the weather perfect to enjoy them.
Thank you staff for a great stop over.
Stayed here for 7 nights early October and the weather was fabulous which was a great bonus. The wardens are very friendly and work very hard here making the site lovely. The amenity block has everything required but the showers etc are looking a bit tired now - not a complaint but an observation - they were always clean - everything can be achieved from here - Jacobean railway, walking, shopping, ferry crossing across the islands etc., best seafood all over the place especially when we visited Mallaig(Cornerstone) and Oban(George Street Fish Restaurant) - absolutely love this site and will return - thank you
Had a great time at the site, even with the stormy weather. Stunning views & close to ferry across he Loch. Not far from Fort William & Ben Nevis.
Facilities spotless as always.
Even lucky enough to see a cruise ship sailing up the Loch to Fort William.
Will stay again when we return to Scotland.
This is a gorgeous site next to a Loch. Spotless facilities and friendly staff. We did a couple of good walks from the campsite. There are maps sold there. We have stayed before and will definitely be returning.
This is the best site we have stayed at so far. The location is spectacular and the facilities very clean. There is plenty to do around about if you can tear yourself away from the stunning scenery. Will definitely return.
Lovely, clean site with helpful friendly staff. We stayed for one night passing through, well kept site with good dog walking and good walks in the area.
Stayed here for one night as part of our trip round the north coast of Scotland. Excellent site on the shore of the loch, all the facilities were spotless and the site was clean and well maintained. Dog walk was accessible straight from our pitch which was on the front row on the loch side. The night we stayed was very windy we thought, that was until we chatted to a couple who were pitched further round the front of the site from us, they said they thought their van might take flight at some point(it didn't).There are some spectacular views here, we know this from previous trips to the area, but sadly not on this occasion as the weather had taken a turn for the worst and shrouded the scenery in a blanket of mist and drizzle.
Yes it was raining and blowing a gale but it is still a good site, this years wardens are great. The motor home dump point is not good on a slope and too close to the road edges. The toilets were very clean except for the odd member or two who fail to clean up after themselves, I wonder who cleans up after them at home?
We will be back again.
We stayed at this site 3 years ago and were so pleased we returned. We had a second row pitch which was good, so peaceful and relaxing. Facilities excellent. My husband did some fishing and we had Pollock for dinner which was nice. Lovely walks into the forest opposite. Wish we had enquired about dog friendly eating places. As we are motorhome owners we walk everywhere and didn't realise there was somewhere we could take the dog to eat. Will definitely return
