Fantastic site

Fantastic site, it is so clean and tidy especially the toilet blocks where the piped music is a nice touch,a great play area which would be perfect if it had a ball field for the boys to play football on, there's a lovely dog friendly beach over the road at danes dyke and for a good cheap family meal try the friendly forester pub.

Excellent Site

We stayed at Bridlington site during that hot week just before the schools broke up for summer. It is a fairly new site. The toilet block is one of the best we have encountered on Caravan Club sites and the wardens are doing an excellent job looking after them. The site is slightly inland but there are footpaths to the coast which is about a 15 minute walk, rather more if you choose to go via Danes Dyke which is a really nice walk.  There is only one toilet block and it is quite distant from some of the pitches so do your homework before you go and look at the site plan for your preferred pitch. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away and Scarborough and Whitby not too far distant. There are good beaches at Bridlington, particularly the south beach, and also at Filey and Scarborough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bridlington site and would definitely return if visiting that area.

Excellent site

Stayed here for 3weeks over June/July 2016 and had a lovely time. Wardens Karen and Phil & Carol and Paul were some of the friendliest and most helpful wardens we have met and they worked very hard in keeping the site spotless and neat and creating a lovely friendly atmosphere. The site was immaculate and shower block was one of the cleanest and best we have seen.It is certainly a site we will return to. Music in the toilet ?? ??

Just spent 3 nights at this site wardens were very helpful and polite,my only gripe is the piped music/radio in the toilet block, call me old fashioned but to me it was too loud and not to everyone's taste. I do acknowledge that some people do like it. Some of us however prefer peace and quite. ??

Good but could be better

As a Caravan Club site the cleanliness of the facilities is as good as you expect. The wardens were friendly and helpful. I think the layout of the site should have been given more thought, for example the serviced pitches were placed on an "outside circle" of a quite ugly "garden" with no shortcut path through to the toilet black. In fact there were no shortcut paths anywhere on the site. The play area, although well constructed, had features for older children and did not cater for toddlers and younger children. I'm not sure we would return to this site.

Brilliant

Had 12 days at this site, and was our first visit, we cannot fault it in anyway and hope to return someday. In particular was the friendliness of the wardens and so very helpful so thank you to all, especially Karen for putting us onto the Tea Cosy at Beverley.

Great site

Great site good location, nice wardens. Nice size level pitches, good layout, like radio in washblock, good dog walk. The location is good for dog owners as most of attractions dog friendly Rspb Bempon, Sewerby hall, model village and filey Bird park.Ship inn at sewerby and Martonian inn pubs also allow dogs. Nice beaches went to north beach, Filey and Scarborough. The only thing that could improve is put a chair in laundry room. Another thing is the tv boaster cable was faulty but forgot to mention it to wardens.

A Superb 5 * Break

We stayed for 4 nights 5-9 June both sets of wardens were always friendly and very helpful. This site is well run and the staff are constantly working to keep it in an immaculate condition the toilet block is superb. Advice from the warden Phil re TV signal failure was greatly appreciated. The location is ideal for access to Flamborough and nearby Sewerby Hall, the coastal pathway to Bridlington is a must. Oh! The fish and chips from Sewerby Village are simply delicious. Do watch for any damage to your aerials on the grass ours was well and truly chomped by one of the many rabbits, I did observe it and thought ‘bless’ thought it was merely enjoying the recently cut grass. The club members on site were a really decent lot and all looked out for each other, only one concern for us and this is for a CC dog walker on the Wednesday afternoon (you know who you are) who bagged the droppings and left it on the entrance site walkway, presumably for others to remove – the actual dog bin was in view of the bag, you really couldn’t make it up!! The site is apparently due for redevelopment that will double the pitches available – really hope this does not spoil the character of the place.

Neat site

First visit to this part of the country and the site is ideal for exploring the surrounding area.  Peaceful site and spotlessly clean, wardens were even sweeping stones off the road one day which is maybe taking tidiness a little too far. Bus stops at the bottom of the drive which is handy because Bridlington and Filey are not very motorhome friendly, lots of height barriers and parking restrictions. Not to be missed is Flamborough Head and the RSPB reserve at  Bempton.
