Lovely site

1st time at Bridlington. Lovely well maintained site. Wardens were very friendly and helpful. Gave directions to the 'Ship Inn'. Purpose of visit was dog walks and it was perfect. We found a great walk, out of the site, turn left past the Golf Course then turn right into the Dyke. Very picturesque forrest with a stream running through. Dog was in his element. Then into the cliffs, turn right and head to Bridlington along the beach. Simply superb! Weather was amazing fro Feb - We wished we had brought the Awning furniture! Facilities on site up to the usual CC high standard. Pitch was 100% level and very clean and tidy. Dog walking area was a little boggy due to the recent rain - personally I would have preferred the grass to be a little shorter, but I believe it is a Bio Diversity area. Dog liked it though -although picking his mess up in long grass isn't much fun :( A fantastic site that is well positioned for some great dog walks. Nothing not to like. WILL be coming back!

Good site

Stayed here over Christmas and must say the facilities are excellent. They have dug up a lot of the site for some reason which is surprising considering it is a fairly new site. Trees and hedges need to mature more. The entrance looks like the road onto a new building site so perhaps some trees along here to soften it would be good. Handy for Sewerby hall, the cliffs, golf course and lots of attraction in the area and an easy walk into town.

Fabulous site and the wardens, Paul & Carole Gregory, are outstanding!

This site is such a gem, perfectly placed in the characterful village of Sewerby. The facilities are beyond compare and kept stunningly clean and tidy by two of the most thoughtful wardens on the network. Paul and Carole couldn't have done more for us and their care and attention is an example to all. This must be one of the best sites on the network and we will undoubtedly return. Thank you to Paul and Carole and equally to the Caravan Club, for being such a magnificent organisation of which to be a member.

First time at Bridlington

Whilst we wouldn't particularly book to stay in Bridlington, the position of this site just outside of the town is great and ideally situated for visiting other seaside resorts and villages on the East coast. With pubs/eating places within 10 minutes walking distance and a bus stop virtually outside the site entrance you really don't need to use the car during any short stay. The site is immaculate. We really don't know why we haven't been before. We certainly will be back again. With good walks from the site to Bridlington, Flamborough and Sewerby the site is ideally situated for dog walking. We're on site at the moment and whilst we've had a good week weather wise we haven't used the dog walk as we've wanted to avoid muddy paws, but the long approach to the site is an ideal place to walk the dog off site with a doggy bin to help keep the grassy areas clean and poop free. And finally, the wardens are the most helpful, friendly and approachable we've encountered on any Club site. Nothing is too much trouble and they obviously take pride in their work. Both are a credit to the Club.

First visit, already rebooked!

Visited this site for a few days getaway after the christmas mayhem. Absolutely love the site, quiet, well set out, great facilities, love the under floor heating and piped music in the wash rooms. Great wardens and a lovely location. Credit to the CC.

Spoiling a good site

We are on this site at present and it is very nice. However I am horified to discover that the wilder areas of the site are to be dug out and flattened, simply because some idiots think they look unsightly. This will ruin the biodiversity of this site and make it look like a flat field. Obviously ok if you are too lazy to walk around and are one of the rude idle people that walks across other peoples pitches.

SPOT ON SITE

Visited 18th November and other reviews were correct [ very good ]. Could not fault site except for weather which could be expected.Only comment which i could make is that warden was so nice and chatty that he over watched me onto pitch to the degree that i had to reposition caravan when he had gone but this is not a complaint .

Back Again!

Back to Brid again for our November caravan outing. Wardens all great, very helpful and friendly. Site a little quieter than usual even with the updates taking place on the lower pitches. Had a serviced pitch this time (hang the expense!) which made life easier and the weather stayed reasonably mild so nothing froze up. Easy road access to other East coast towns (Filey, Scarbro', Hornsea) from the site which is 10 mins drive into Bridlington. Nice quiet site , although the RAF were "busy" overhead on 2 of the days, and the local owls were busy hunting in the early evenings. Recommend you visit, you won't be disappointed. We'll be back next year for sure.
