First visit

This site is excellent, large pitches well spaced and is very well kept. Some reviews say wardens are very helpful but I found them a bit overpowering when they seem to descend on every arrival supervising you pitching. The dog field was very good but that will disappear next year when site is extended. You could walk through the golf course to the cliff tops but when going through the wooded part there were some tents in there wild camping.

Message from The Club:

Thanks for your review. We can confirm that the dog walk area will not be affected by the upcoming site extension. The extension will include a road that runs along the bottom of the dog field, allowing access into the new area leaving the dog field untouched.

Lovely site

This site is a credit to the wardens who keep the site pristeen, as said before the Toilet/shower block is immaculate with music and heated floor and never had a cold shower. Wardens very friendly and even guided me on to the pitch, thank you. Tried to get a meal at the Ship in Sewerby but they were only serving food later in the week so we tried The Friendly Forester on the main road and had a lovely meal and the prices were very good. The only downside was the wifi, having paid for a week we only got around 3 days worth in total. We spoke to the wardens on one occasion and they said it was off altogether and they had rung to get it fixed and I had to ring Air Angel later as we had nothing. They had me trying lots of things to no avail then he rang off telling me he would ring back. It was suddenly working again but only for a few minutes, after that nothing. I did seem to work on the bottom side of the site. Waste of time and money.

Must be the best kept secret

We recently spent a week there in early October and dropped for a lovely weather holiday. The wardens were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble either in the shop or around the site. The site we must say is one of the best we have visited so clean and tidy with good sized pitches and flat. The toilet block was so clean it should be up for the best kept amenity block prize (if there is one) and if there isn't, there should be. We will definitely be back in 2017.

Sunny Brid

Visited this year the last week in July with our twin granddaughters aged 11 years. We have been to this site previously and the girls loved it so much, they requested we stay again this year. Lovely clean and modern site, with good sized pitches. Helpful staff and super toilet block kept in tip top condition. Well equipped play area and good for bike riding round the site for the children. Site is near to Sewery and Flamborough only a short car drive away - both lovely areas. Fab fish and chip shop in Sewerby - a definite must. Several pubs in Flamborough serving good food. Our girls liked the beaches on the south side of Brid best, sandy with dunes and not too rough sea. Filey is also worth a visit - quite an old fashioned seaside town and well kept. The beach there is very clean as the tide comes in right up to the sea wall twice a day, so all the beach is well washed. We will visit again, either with or without the girls.

I had a recent stay on the Bridlington site it was our first time in this area. Can't recommend the site highly enough, toilets must be one of the best in the clubs system. Good dog walk only let down by some people who should not have dogs as they don't pick up after their dogs, not very nice for the poo fairy to pick up ( wardens). Within walking distance to the north beach (2miles), but lots of parking around the north beach area ideal for dogs plenty of space, but we didn't like the town of Bridlington seemed run down, Filey is well worth a visit with free parking on the front if lucky. Enjoyed our week immensely and will visit again.

Beautiful Brid

Stayed here the last week in July for our annual multi-generational British seaside holiday. Easy to access, large pitch, spotless facilities. We hired a council beach chalet on Princess Mary Promenade; gorgeous weather meant a holiday to remember. Little ones in the sea in their wetsuits, teens playing table tennis or promenading, middles on a sandwich and cup of tea production line and seniors enjoying their well deserved relaxation. Park for free near bowling green. But back to the site: it is well maintained and close to fab fish and chip shop 149 (phone ahead for maximum convenience). A classic.

Really Lovely

We have just returned from a 6 night stay and I cannot recommend this site more highly. Everything from the cleanliness of the shower blocks and the music that plays while you shower to the beautifully kept flowers and superb tidy pitches. The wardens were so helpful and friendly.  The site is within walking distance of Sewerby, Bridlington and also Flamborough This was our first visit to the site and we are already planning when to go again. Excellent site

Fabulous

Fabulous site! We stayed here during a glorious week in May and had a great time. Excellent location for exploring the Yorkshire coast and our favourite fish and chips in Whitby! It looks like a new site and the landscaping is still a bit raw but will improve as it establishes. The facilities are outstandingly clean and well maintained by the Wardens. We just hope the planned extension of the site (which looks as though it will double in size) doesn't spoil it - but at least it means many more members can experience what this area has to offer. We will definitely be coming back.
