Our first visit to this site and it certainly won't be our last. Check in was quick and efficient. Pitches are level and very spacious. Facilities are first class, clean and well maintained. The site is a little open but we liked the light and particularly the sun on our pitch. Too many sites are becoming overwhelmed by trees!!
As motorhome owners we like to walk and/or use public transport. Buses run hourly from outside the club site. Bridlington and Flamborough very accessible. Walking from the site is good although a busy main road has to be walked along to access anything. However this didn't put us off. We walked to Sewerby, Danes Dyke and Bridlington. Much of the walking is eventually in traffic free areas.
Mason Farm shop, the Old Forge and the Ship can all be reached on foot. Breakfast at the farm shop was delicious.
Sewrby Hall and Gardens, Flamborough Head and Danes Dyke are all well worth visiting. We did walk into Bridlington. Stayed a few minutes and quickly left!! An incredibly loud fairground right next to the harbour spoilt what would have been a pleasant afternoon ramble.
We will return to this site but will not venture too far into Bridlington!
2nd visit to this site
Great location close to Brdlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and the Yorkshire moors.. We stayed for 4 nights over May half term and this was our 2nd visit as we had loved it last October. Lovely peaceful site but disappointing last day.
We were ready to leave on the Sunday morning the 6th June at 11 50. I decided I needed to use the facilities before we drove off so I went to the toilet block closest to me. When I went in there was no toilet roll in any of the cubicles which were open to guests due to covid. I hastily walked to the other toilet block on the other field and it was closed due to cleaning so I had to return to my caravan to find some toilet roll. I returned to the toilet block and there was another gentleman in there in the same predicament as I was in, only he was pitched at the far end of the site. Therefore I spared his blushes and gave him some toilet tissue. This is not good enough, Surely if you are going to close a toilet block for cleaning the only other available one should have been checked beforehand.
We headed to the gate to leave at 12 10 which yes we know we were late but didn't expect to be shouted at across the road from reception by the lady warden tapping her watch and saying 12 late. We were frankly taken aback and it upset us for the rest of the afternoon. We are both in our 50s and we have been members of the Caravan club since 2011. This is only the 2nd time that we have had an encounter with a disgruntled warden. Needless to say we have never returned to that site since that encounter either. we are not naughty school children and do not expect to be spoken like we are. Dawn and Tim Pickford

Mature Couple
Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of May. Very well run, quiet site with speedy arrival procedure with only a very short queue. Did not use the facilties so cannot comment on clenliness etc. Short drive to North Landing for walk along the coast - west to Bempton Cliffs and east to Flamborough Head. Both very enjoyable walks with thousands of sea birds. Also walked directly from the site across the golf course to the coast east of Bridlington. Very enjoyable stay.
Lovely site
We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The booking in process was very good. There is a bus stop outside the site taking you into Bridlington 23 minutes past the hour or North Landings 58 minutes past the hour. There’s also a lovely walk (Via the golf course) along the tops to North and South landings, as well as into Bridlington.
Great site
Great site very well maintained, great layout, warden very helpful and friendly, the only letdown were members not obeying covid rules by not following the band system and not wearing face coverings in the toilet block.
Well laid out and spotless
We were greeted by the friendly organised wardens on this spotless and well laid out site. We pitched on the original side with hedges which felt sheltered, the new side was more open.
We experienced some noise from the playground, especially Saturday evening and night and some road noise depending on the wind direction.
Great location for walking and bus stops. We also walked to Bempton train station ( some road walking with no pavement) to catch the train to Filey and walked back along the beach and cliff tops.

One of our favourites
The site is in such a beautiful area it’s hard to find anything to dislike.
The weather was grim but dodging the downpours we managed to cycle / walk to Flamborough Head (stunning scenery), Bempton Cliffs (very busy but still safely socially distanced), South Landing, North Landing, Bridlington sea front and Old Town.
Cycling is mainly on road and there are a few inclines but nothing is more than 3 or 4 miles away. There is a bus stop just outside the site if needed.
The site is quite open with very little character, it’s quiet but if it’s windy you’ll notice it! Facilities were kept to typical club standards.

Excellent Site
Excellent staff and site great location. Immaculate facilities . Great for exploring area. The only downside is getting on and off site on bikes. No gaps apart from using the pedestrian paths thru an awkward gate. Suggest one post left out of carpark restriction would be safer to use from a cyclists point of view.
A favourite site
We have stayed at this site several times in the past, is always consistent, this is a clean, modern and excellent site. Spacious pitches, plenty of grass areas around each pitch. Superb facilities, run by polite, friendly efficient wardens. We like the area, can walk to Bridlington, Sewerby, Danes Dyke. Nice to walk along the wide open pathways near the sea at Sewerby where this is also a dog friendly beach. Visit Filey, Flamborough, North Landing. Due to government guidelines showers not currently in use. Alternate toilets and privacy cubicles are open, also laundry and washing up area. System club have in place is to take a band out of Milton tub and hang on a hook outside toilet block, 4 people allowed at a time, then return band to liquid as you leave the facility. If 4 bands on hooks you queue outside. Simple enough, however we noticed on several occasions people obviously forgetting to return their bands as they left, so it looked as if 2 or 3 people were inside, when block was obviously completely empty. Could mean you are waiting outside when there is no need, so club might need to re-think system, people are just forgetting to do this, despite being clear instructions and a sign on door to remind you as leave. Blocks weren’t busy while we were there but this could be a problem once people are using them more. This is just human error as there is no advantage to be gained by someone leaving their band on the hook, realise the club is trying to use a system they believe to be the best for health and safety etc.
Lockdown ended - first days of freedom 2021
We arrived on the first day that the site was open. There was a eager queue of motorhomes and caravans waiting patiently to be allowed onto the site - but no driving around to find a pitch to your liking as the wardens had a pick-a-raffle-ticket-out-of-a-bucket 'blind' pitch allocation. It was fine, and we understood why it was done, but once everyone was in and settled we saw free pitches that we would have preferred.
We liked the fact that the site was 'open' and not many trees - there's nothing worse than being under a tree when it rains. However, we saw no rain at all and the sun shone as if to welcome everyone to being allowed to roam once again.
The site is level and we had to use the ramps to only slightly level the motorhome. We cannot comment on the toilets/showers because we were self-contained. The washing up facilities were very clean. The site was very well maintained and clean. Location is good and it's a tidy walk either by road or across the golf course to get to the coastal path and then the flat traffic-free walk into Bridlington.
