This is the first caravan club site we have visited very easy access off the main road.
Reception very friendly and was able to choose our own pitch.
Site very clean and shower and toilet blocks very clean and in good condition.
Nice dog walk area that you can run your dog without a lead.
Small children play area to keep little one amused.
Only about a 10 minute drive to folkstone and supermarkets only 10 minutes away
Shop directly over the road from the site and a nice pub 300 yards along the road
Would highly recommend
Lovely Site
We stayed here for 2 nights in mid February. Site is well located in a village with a handy village shop & pub just across the road. Our pitch was really spacious & pretty level. The 2 amenity blocks were spotlessly clean & lovely & warm when it was chilly outside. It was nice & peaceful with just a little road noise. Staff really friendly & helpful. Site close to many nice places to visit with a bus to Canterbury, Folkestone & Hythe just outside the gate. We really enjoyed our stay & will be back.

Spotlessly clean
Our first stay since joining the club and what a lovely experience. A super friendly welcome with lots of information for us first timers! A lovely hard standing pitch complete with hook up. Excellent shower and toilet facilities spotlessly clean and nice and warm . Well placed water and waste disposal. Pub across the road was friendly , food was available but we only had a drink by their roaring fire. Would definitely recommend this site, ideal for visiting Canterbury or overnight stop before ferry to France.
Perfect stop for the ferry. Top class facilities and friendly staff
Used it for a one night stop before the tunnel. Facilities were the best I’ve experienced in a UK campsite. Highly recommend
Perfect Pitch for a Channel Tunnel Stopover
We have use the site before when travelling via the Channel Tunnel. Brilliant location just a quick 10 minute drive away, plenty of opportunity for last minute stock up too . Despite its location to Folkestone the site is a peaceful site. Can't fault the organisation and welcome from the site wardens - even received a phone call to check our anticipated arrival time and give me the gate code in case of any unforeseen delays. My only minor point would be that the first time around we did not opt for a ferry pitch as we were not leaving early, this time we did and felt that the facilities in this section of the site were a little tired compared with the other block on the site. Nevertheless A* to the site. Would definitely use again.
Great welcome to England
Though it could be a just on-nigh site because of the ferry, it has a lot of more to give. It's great to have such a beautiful place any time we have to take the ferry, but also was nice to visit the surroundings.
Very kind and organised with the late arrivals of the ferry.
Fantastic weekend break
Me and my family had a great weekend away, would recommend this site to any families looking to explore and take in the surrounding countryside

Lovely break in the area
Stayed in October for 8 nights, lots to see and do. Visited Churchills home in Chartwell, Battle of Britain museum in Hawkinge, Dover Castle, White Cliffs, Folkstone and enjoyed the coastal walks. Also took the opportunity for a day trip to Calais via Eurotunnel. Well worth spending time here and the site facilities are the usual high standard for the Club. The Black Horse Inn across the road has now closed down, but we had a lovely meal at the Jackdaw Inn.
More than just a ferry stop-over
We stayed at Black Horse Farm for two nights, one on the way to France and one on the way back. It is literally 15 minutes max to the tunnel, so it is a great place for an overnight kip before setting of across the Channel. The ferry pitches are all near the site entrance so the regular customers don't get disturbed by the early departures. The site staff allocate pitches so, when we arrived, we were told which pitch was ours. When we returned we weren't in any hurry to get away so I phoned the site in advance and asked for a pitch a bit further from the entrance, and the very helpful staff obliged and put us on a very nice pitch near the first service point. The site and the facilities are extremely well kept, the grass was in excellent condition considering the hot summer, and everywhere was really clean and tidy. Coping with so many comings and goings must create a lot of unique problems for the site staff, but they manage the site admirably. Having taken the opportunity to walk around the site it is clearly a really nice place and is worthy of a visit in its own right, not just using it as a stopover on the way to the Channel ports. Well done to the Club and the staff.
Autumn break.
First time visit to site and have found it to be extremely well appointed for visiting various places of interest. The fact that a no.16 bus stops outside the site every 20 mins and takes you directly to centre of Canterbury is a bonus and means not having to drive, £7 for an explorer ticket cover all day travel. Site most pleasant and staff very helpful. Opposite site entrance is a local, well stocked, shop.
