This is the best site I’ve found- superb location- green and perfect for a dog- and owner!
Welcome from lady member was great and she made me and dog so welcome
Facilities great and all so clean and well managed
Loved my stay and will be back!
A couple of niggles.
An excellent site in the main, just two niggles that make it four not five star for me.
Niggle one; Early visit 0630 to the showers and disable room found the facilities to be rather cold compared to other club sites. Water in the sinks was just lukewarm and made shaving a pain. My wife has to use an adhesive to attach an Ostomy appliance which needs hot water in the sink to soften the tube for sticking the appliance to her skin, the lukewarm water was not up to the job. Hot water in the facilities at the prices club members pay should be a given at any time.
Niggle two; Not sure if the rough approach road is the responsibilty of the club but the overly harsh speed bumps on the site are awful, at far less than the 5mph limit (which I support), the crossing of them is like jumping a kerb it is so harsh.
Redhill is a great place to shop locally with great parking above the Sainsbury superstore.
Wardens are very good.
Peaceful site not far from the M23 and M25
I have always like this site when you think it is just off the M23 and near to the M25.Site pitches are large and plenty of room between pitches. But as many people have stated and just follow details of site approach as in the hand book. The site wardens put my mind at ease when contacted by phone as M25 shut for an hour or so to clear an accident and did not really want to spend a night on the late night arrivals area.
Surprisingly there are quite a few walks in the area but they are hilly. Nearby Chaldon church is lovely.I managed to walk to Kenley aerodrome with gliders talking off and landing. Couple of nice pubs for refuelling as well.
On a shopping trip, I stopped off at Leith Hill with a lovely country park, the highest point in the south east. London is accessible in 40mins from local railway stations, details are in the information room.
Alderstead never fails to deliver
25-03-2019, just back froma great w/end at Alderstead Heath. One of our favorites. Never fails to deliver. Ideal for kids or without. Lovely walks & grounds. Great staff as always. Been going there for nearly 10 years now. Nice to get back. Well done all.
Enjoyable stay
Spent five nights at this site last week and found it to be very peaceful with friendly and helpful wardens. The toilet/shower block was new and extremely clean and bright - I would have liked to have been able to listen to the radio whilst in the toilet/shower block - but this is a matter of opinion. Personally I like to have the radio playing in the toilet/shower block - better than listening to people's ablutions!
There is a lovely dog walk from site - you can walk all the way to Happy Valley which is beautiful.
This was my third visit to the site and I will definitely be visiting again.

Great site
We stayed here over night for a party that we were going to locally. it is a lovely clean site and well laid out. The wardens were friendly and very helpful. We did the Downlands short walk on the Sunday before we left which is accessible from the site.
Impeccable site!
We stayed here over New Year, and were seriously impressed with everything! The pitch was great, clean and level hardstanding. Staff were very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. They even arranged NYE nibbles and drinks, which sadly we didn't make, but others said was great. The close proximity to M25 and major roads is surprising, as the site itself is quiet and peaceful. The only place to hear a little road noise is from the dog walking area up near the entrance. This is an absolute gem if you have a pooch, ours loved it, plenty to explore, sniff and chase! Facilities block was equally high standard, impeccably clean, warm, proper taps on showers, a pleasure to use. We will most definitely be returning here!

New year stay
Just had a lovely couple of days at alderstead heath site over New year. The wardens were amazing and threw a nye drinks and nibbles for us all which was great fun, helped us with all the pipes we needed for our first experience on a serviced pitch (my eleven year old will never let me do non serviced again) and somehow managed to keep the washblock incredibly clean and tidy. Showers were amazing. Alderstead is literally a couple of miles off the m23 but surprisingly rural - I went for a long run and only saw cyclists, not a single car in forty minutes. You can just hear road noise if you listen for it, but it wasn't a problem for us.
Great quiet site
The wardens are very helpful and always polite despite the time of day. Had problems with the barrier, but no problem they helped me in. The facilities has recently been upgraded and it shows. Waste disposal is very conveniently located at various points on the site. Just a word of warning to all. Please read the directions carefully. The satnav will place you in an impossible position on a very narrow country lane. Not fun. The route suggested is unfortunately not well sign posted so will recommend you study it before you go, or have someone read it out for you. Traffic is heavy late afternoon and early morning so try to avoid those times.
Wonderful & Friendly Staff
Many thanks Tim, Dawn, Diana & Jeff for making our brief one night stay so enjoyable and relaxing ! Just what we've come to expect from the CMC - excellent staff running an excellent site owned by and excellent company.
This is a great site for exploring the North Downs - close to London and an excellent location just of the M25 / M23.
Keep up the good work team !
