Amazingly peaceful and clean

I was astonished to be in such a busy area and yet hear no traffic - only birds and children playing. It was a pleasure. This site is great. It is clean and welcoming. I didn't follow the directions on the site and had a bit of trouble as a result of the Sat Nav taking a longer route. Will pay attention in future when I am back!

Perfect holiday

We are pleased to have come here for the first time. We originally booked for one week ,but loved it here and therefore extended our stay for a further week. We found it perfect for trips to London , including Wimbledon and Hampton Court by train . Shops are within easy reach, a short drive away. Access is good if you follow the club site guidance. The wardens are all friendly and helpful. Well done to the amazing ‘ apprentice wardens’ Everything around the site is well maintained and the toilet block is spotless. The site is suitable for families and couples as pitches are spacious and well laid out. There are pitches allowing sun and ,or ,shade. It was worth our 400 mile drive to get here and we will return.

Great stay

Our first caravan break. Hooked up with our first caravan, we wanted somewhere not far away to test run our purchase. I had read about the road approach to this site being a bit narrow and awkward. We approached from junction 8 (not 7 as the sat nav suggested) and didn't experience any issues, however upon speaking to another site user they stated the other approach was a clutch burner. This is a wonderful site. well managed, clean, tidy, friendly, peaceful. You can't hear the motorway, only birds. On the outskirts of the site is a lovely wooded area with pathways. The service areas are well maintained and thought about. There is a dog off lead area enclosure and dog shower area. We pitched up on pitch 170. Full grass pitch with hook up. Grass kept trim with the help of rabbits. Lovely shaded area. The toilets, shower, wash rooms are second to none. Well thought out - lots of room, dry area, seating hooks and shelves. A loud round of applause for this site, well done. We will be returning.

Home from home!

We have been using this site for the last few months in order to house hunt for a move. This site is by far the best we have ever stayed at. The site is spotless, facilities up to date and super clean, pitches level and large and the wardens are welcoming and super helpful. The location is perfect for London with 2 stations nearby and there are great walks directly from the site and close by. Locally there are a great range of take aways and restaurants and their is even a wood fired pizza van on site on Fridays! Heaven! We are really going to find it hard to leave!

Superb Club Site, certainly recommend

We visitied for a week during half-term to visit family in South London. This site was conveniently siuated for us, and is very green and peaceful considering the proximety to the M25. The wardens were super, and the cleanliness and facilaties were certainly up to the club's great standards. We used a serviced pitch, was perfect, and overlooked the playground, which was great for our kids. We will certainly be returning here.

A couple of niggles.

An excellent site in the main, just two niggles that make it four not five star for me. Niggle one; Early visit 0630 to the showers and disable room found the facilities to be rather cold compared to other club sites. Water in the sinks was just lukewarm and made shaving a pain. My wife has to use an adhesive to attach an Ostomy appliance which needs hot water in the sink to soften the tube for sticking the appliance to her skin, the lukewarm water was not up to the job. Hot water in the facilities at the prices club members pay should be a given at any time. Niggle two; Not sure if the rough approach road is the responsibilty of the club but the overly harsh speed bumps on the site are awful, at far less than the 5mph limit (which I support), the crossing of them is like jumping a kerb it is so harsh. Redhill is a great place to shop locally with great parking above the Sainsbury superstore. Wardens are very good.

Peaceful site not far from the M23 and M25

I have always like this site when you think it is just off the M23 and near to the M25.Site pitches are large and plenty of room between pitches. But as many people have stated and just follow details of site approach as in the hand book. The site wardens put my mind at ease when contacted by phone as M25 shut for an hour or so to clear an accident and did not really want to spend a night on the late night arrivals area. Surprisingly there are quite a few walks in the area but they are hilly. Nearby Chaldon church is lovely.I managed to walk to Kenley aerodrome with gliders talking off and landing. Couple of nice pubs for refuelling as well. On a shopping trip, I stopped off at Leith Hill with a lovely country park, the highest point in the south east. London is accessible in 40mins from local railway stations, details are in the information room.

Enjoyable stay

Spent five nights at this site last week and found it to be very peaceful with friendly and helpful wardens. The toilet/shower block was new and extremely clean and bright - I would have liked to have been able to listen to the radio whilst in the toilet/shower block - but this is a matter of opinion. Personally I like to have the radio playing in the toilet/shower block - better than listening to people's ablutions! There is a lovely dog walk from site - you can walk all the way to Happy Valley which is beautiful. This was my third visit to the site and I will definitely be visiting again.
