Stayed here for 4 nights, a beautiful tranquil place to stay, lovely views of the countryside, this site is well maintained with good size fully serviced pitches & a few fruit trees, flower tubs & the beautiful scent of Roses.
Daily visits from the friendly cheeky robin.
Brian & Josie are very welcoming & have so much information & booklets to hand.
All you need is a few good bottles of wine & a few good books.
Local pubs in near by villages.
We cycled into shewsbury town along the old canal & it took about an hour each way,
Plenty to see & places to visit.
Will definitely be returning.

Gorgeous!
We absolutely loved this site. Beautiful countryside, lovely views, well kept and very quiet. Brian the owner is lovely and very accommodating. Can’t wait to return
Lovely Peaceful Site
Just spent a week here and was so impressed I’ve decided to leave a review.
It’s perfect for a quiet, relaxing stay with outstanding views of the surrounding area.
Very well maintained by Brian who has a lot of knowledge of the surrounding area and places to visit. He is genuinely a really nice chap.
Will definitely visit again and would highly recommend to others.
Super little site
Super little site, each pitch is plenty large enough. Brian popped by to say hello and advise us of the area although sadly we only had 1 night as we were on our way to Chester. Weather was beautiful therefore the views are stunning. 10 minute stroll to local village pub Hare and Hounds which was extremely welcoming although closing for refurbishment which the locals appear pleased with.
Give it a go.. what a find!!

Perfect for lovers of quiet, scenic CLs
Our third visit here and cannot fault anything. Pitches are spacious, slightly sloping but well drained and firm ground.
Narrow single track lanes approaches but with plenty of passing places. Great access to loads of interesting places, incl NT and EH, as well as towns and villages.
The site does indeed have views of the Wrekin, the nearby village and surrounding fields. Beautiful area of Shropshire.
Brian keeps the site immaculate with well trimmed grass, neat hedges and potted flowers in season. Tidy CDP and recycling area. Quirky collected items add to the interest.
A top site
A lovely site .... and i completely agree with all the favourable comments of earlier reviews. Would we stay there again - certainly.
Peaceful site with outstanding view,
Stayed here 2 nights .Brian was very welcoming with information of the local surroundings and the site was outstanding.
Fully serviced on all pitches was brilliant and we will be back soon .
CL GEM THAT BEGS TO BE USED
Following ClubFest 2024, my families' three units (2 caravans/1 motorhome) visited this absolutely beautiful CL in accordance with a pre-booking. It is important to follow the Handbook directions to the CL as approach roads to the CL are narrow in places. Having arrived at the CL, access from the road is no problem (we had two double axle caravans) and there are CCTV cameras at the access point which will act as a deterrent and also help to protect the property from unauthorised persons entering the CL. Upon arrival, we were each given a very warm welcome by CL owner Brian who handed to each of us a comprehensive pack of local places to visit and a map, Brian having very kindly allocated us the three hard-standing pitches next to each other. The photographs on the website relating to this already tell their own story - that of a spacious, natural, very well kept, attractive rural CL ideally located to visit many amenities. The open views across the countryside were a bonus as was the tranquility of the site. We were very pleasantly surprised that each of us had our own small grey disposal small drain in the ground from which we were able to pipe the water and also there are ample connections on the water taps to facilitate running a hose from them to the aquaroll. The Elson is conveniently located and of good quality. The site owner is very personable and helpful, visiting the site most days from his adjoining home to check that we were enjoying our stay and to deal with any problems. There are ample re-cycling facilities for waste. Whilst the site was full during our stay, the CL owner commented that so far business had been very slow during 2024 - possibly due to the current Cost of Living Crisis - and so based upon our own recent personal experience (and 52 years CAMC membership) we can highly recommend to everyone to this CL - it really is a gem that begs to be used more! You know what they say: "Use it or lose it" and it would be dreadful to lose this from our CAMC's CL network. With much appreciation to owner Brian who can be proud of his achievements in having established this CL - he is very worth supporting! As Members, let's support him more !
