Excellent CL

Just back home after a beautiful stay at this lovely site, owners are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Fully serviced pitches, very quiet as it is not on a main road, so very little traffic noise, with beautiful views to look at, (Wrekin Hill) in the distance, and well worth a walk to the top. There is plenty to see in the area, we had our bikes, so were out everyday visiting the local attractions. We will definitely return to this site, as a week was not quite long enough. Thank you for aovely week.

WHAT A FANTASTIC LOCATION AND FACILITIES.

What a fantastic site, village, general location and owners Brian and Josie, who could not do enough. Peacefull and quiet, with only bird sounds. Sensibley priced, if not underpriced for what is provided. We will definately be back.

Comment from the Club: review slightly moderated.

So Peaceful

We have stayed at Wrekin View a number of times over the past 5 years and every visit has been peaceful and tranquil. Brian and Josie are delightful hosts and couldn't be friendlier. A perfect bolthole to escape the hustle and bustle of life and an ideal stepping stone for touring all that Shropshire has to offer.

So Peaceful

An absolute gem of a cl, we could only stay for two nights as it was a stopover. The very friendly owners were so welcoming, the site is very well kept. We'll definitely return, it was so peaceful and suited us perfectly.

Lovely C L

Really pleased with this CL. Fully serviced pitches. Very friendly owner. Very clean. Well looked after. Very quiet. Just dont park too far back on the pitch as the squirrels drop bits of tree onto the roof of the van. I wish all sites that I have visited were as well run.

Best Cl Site I've been on

This is without doubt the best CL site I have ever been on. The owner Brian and his wife Josie never stop looking after the site and their guest's. Every pitch has it’s own electric, fresh water and waste water. The site is situated just on the outskirts of Shrewsbury in a village called Withington and from here you have access to many tourist destinations within easy and close reach. The National trust property Attingham park is about a mile away. In the village of Withington about half mile walk the local pub the Hare & Hounds does some very pleasant real ale beers and the locals are very welcoming. They also do take away meals on Friday evening and Sunday lunch.

Fabulous site

A great cl with easy access to shrewsbury by car. A very quiet, well maintained site with friendly owners. A few nice pubs in the area, some walkable and others within a short driving distance. We will definitely use the site again!!

A jewel in Shropshire’s crown

We booked Brian’s delightful site for a couple of nights as a location to visit family as we were passing on a road trip. Pure luck that it was convenient, however once we had arrived we realised what a gem, as advertised, you can see the Wrekin! The site is in the country surrounded by tranquility, yet a few miles from Shrewsbury, National Trust estates and local history. We highly recommend this site for a peaceful and relaxing stay - but come in from Atcham, not Whitington for ease of access.
