Peaceful location with excellent facilities

After readingnprevious reviews we felt we had to try the Brambles. Wasn't disappointed at all. Eric and Sue are lovely hosts and extremely helpful. The site is well laid out and having service pitches makes for a relaxing stay. Ensure you follow the instructions to locate the site as the dinal turn off the main road appears quickly. Very pleased with the site. If only the weather was as accomodating. We do not have any reservations recommending Brambles.

Great CL in a great location

I have just returned from my second visit to Brambles, and within 24 hours of returning home I have booked again for next year. That tells you everything you need to know. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the communication before and after staying is perfect and the site itself is great. All facilities are on hand, with EHU, fresh water and grey waste on each pitch. The location is superb, and after 10 days, I still had places I wanted to visit. Ideal for dogs with a good dog walk on site and plenty of beaches and forests nearby. When I got home, I got an email from Eric and Sue asking if I would let them know what improvements they could come up with. I couldn't think of any. It's a great place and you should try it.

An amazing CL

We have just returned after a week at Brambles. What can I say that hasn’t already been said by the previous reviews? It really is a gem hidden away from the road. The toilets (en suites) are spotless, the pitches are spacious, the WiFi and tv signals are very good, the gardens are beautifully maintained, I could go on. I definitely would recommend Erik and Sue, wonderful hosts

Great CL in perfect location

This CL has to be one of the best we have ever stayed at. It is like staying in a private gardens, surrounded by birdsong and pleasing shrubs, hedges and saplings and two stunning ponds with water lilies. Very peaceful and relaxing. Sue and Eric’s attention to detail in all aspects of the CL is evident everywhere, from communications to the facilities which were spotless and gleaming. Instant piping hot water in the showers, good fresh water pressure tap and grey waste water drains on each pitch.

Perfect CL site in a stunning location!

Wow...we have just had a week at Brambles CL site and I already want to book again! The CL site is perfect and couldn't fault it. This is an adults only site that accepts dogs in a stunning location with excellent facilities! Communication with owners is faultless down to detailed navigation routes on how to get to site, and they are so welcoming when you arrive. Pitches are large and screened off from your neighbours to some extent. Shower and toilet facilities were spotless and warm. Plus they have a dog walking area in their lovely landscaped grounds. The overall area of Newborough Natural Nature Reserve and Forest is just stunning with miles of paths through the pine forests to the best sandy beaches I have seen in the UK. I would definitely recommend and we will be re-booking!

Superb peaceful site

Very quiet site with spacious pitches and clean facilities. Plenty of information from Sue and Eric - especially on how to find the site. They are pleased to advise on local places to visit. Would stay again.

Super site

This is a real gem of a site. Great welcome by Sue and Eric, loads of information prior to arrival and nothing too much trouble. The hardstanding pitches are a great size with all that you need to be self sufficient. Toilet and shower were kept spotless with all recycling bins nearby. Easy walking access to Newborough and the Wales Coast Path. Fantastic peaceful site which we will use again. Definitely recommend.

Perfect CL

We stayed at Brambles CL in mid April; the site provided good shelter from prevailing winds, easy access to the beautiful coastline of Anglesey, well maintained facilities and wonderful hosts! I agree with all the other positive reviews, Highly recommended - I hope we can visit again soon!

Of all our years of caravaning this is the best site we have stayed on Peaceful and tranquil only noise was the birds Excellent facilities Ideal location for touring the island Look forward to our next visit

A superb CL

We spent 3 nights at Brambles CL in the middle of April 2024 and had a great time. The site is well laid out and has fully serviced pitches. The toilet/shower was excellent and the care the site owners have for the site site and the guests was self evident. We were in easy reach of shops/ supermarkets and local attractions such as Beaumaris castle (Historic Scotland/Wales Cadw),the Secret Gardens of Beaumaris and Bodnant Gardens (National Trust) whose azaleas and rhododendrons were coming in to full bloom. There are a number of different access routes suggested by the owners and we arrived via Junction 7 (a long way round ) and left by the Junction 5 (slightly narrower road. We had no problems using the Junction 5 route and it is much more direct. Thoroughly recommend this CL.
