Very pleasant and peaceful CL

The CL has very spacious pitches which are well apart. All nicely maintained. I did use the toilet and shower so can't comment on them. There are lively wildlife ponds. Good, friendly welcome from owners. Great location for Newborough, Llanddwyn etc.

Peaceful weekend

Large fully serviced pitch’s which are well kept. Friendly owners. Great location to cycle from. Access to beach at Newborough is a short drive or good walk. Very quiet and relaxing site with good shower/toilet facilities. Very clean and well designed site. Additional cost for electricity is a different approach? Our second visit to Brambles, will definitely visit again.

A gem of a site

Just returned after a long easter weekend break and have to say this is a real gem of a cl! Very friendly and helpful owners.Nice large fully serviced pitches that are well spaced out. Great location for beaches and other attractions! Will definitely return .

Peaceful relaxing site

We have stayed a couple of time now and the brambles has been a quiet, relaxing site that is clean and well maintained. The owners are very helpful and are around if needed but leave you in peace if not. Would highly recommend and will be returning!

A conveniently placed all year round site to explore Anglesey

A warm welcome from Sue showing us to our pitch upon our arrival, just as the sun was setting. This helped us get set up quickly. Pitches fully serviced with bins for all sorts of recycling. One of the shower rooms was under redecoration when we were there, but there was plenty of hot water to enjoy in the shower. One observation being there was no mirror (at the moment). Plenty of wildlife, but if you want some more, just hang up a fat ball! The site is very convenient for all the sites that one would want to visit across the island.

Short stay

Great little site sat in a really quiet spot. Sheltered and hid away from traffic in a mostly tree lined site. Perfect for Newborough beach and forest. Didn't use facilities as we had everything but modern reliable metred electricity supply which was reasonably priced. You pay for what you use. Water tap and recycling bins on each pitch which is a great idea. Very helpful and pleasant owner who made us feel very welcome. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Superb CL

Our visit was for 1 night Feb ‘23. We were very impressed. All pitches are serviced and are away from each other giving privacy. The electric is metered which makes everything so much cheaper. The toilet block was nice with piping hot shower. The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into this site and it was much appreciated. Near to RAF Valley so some aircraft noise but not before 8am. Highly recommend.

Wonderful relaxing site

Sue and Eric were the perfect hosts for our mini break in our Motorhome.. they checked we were ok and made a big fuss of our little darling Cockapoo The facilities were clean and adequate. We were only a short drive from the wonderful Newborough forest and beach which we absolutely loved, weather good for feb too. Thanks Sue and Eric we will be back, thanks for accommodating us for the extra 2 days we decided to spend on your lovely peaceful site Love Sally and Richard Swann xx

Lovely quiet stay

We stayed 2 nights. Eric emailed to say would be out on our arrival, but advised our pitch number, directions to the site and our pitch. We arrived and found our pitch, and Eric popped by to make sure we were happy and to go over a few details of the site. Very friendly. They have 5 hard standing pitches, with bins, water and electric. Our pitch was clean and flat, so blocks were not needed. There is chemical waste area and a block which houses the shower and toilets, which is not common for CL sites. The only downside would be that the toilet is in with the shower, so if you need to use the toilet, you may well be waiting for someone to finish showering. A separate toilet would be better, and I believe Eric and Sue do have that on their to do list! This was a lovely dark skies campsite and very peaceful. I would recommend this site, and in fact did just that to a young couple who approached us at a beach asking if we knew of a quiet campsite! Value for money? I would say so. We paid £24 pn and electric is additional, which you pay for at the end of your stay, cash on the day or back transfer.

An amazing CL and perfect peaceful getaway.

We stayed for 1 night to get away from the greyness of Manchester and have already booked to return. The best CL we have stayed on so far. Everything you need is on your pitch, Sue and Eric are great hosts and gave good tips for beautiful dog walks. The pitches are separated with greenery, the site is well thought out and continues to be developed even further. Shower facilities are immaculate. Newborough beach is a short drive away and has the most stunning beach/forest/scenery- it has it all. Cannot recommend highly enough.
