First CL experience, will be hard to beat!

We just too delivery of our first ever Caravan, and neither myself or my wife have been Caravanning before. I have only ever towed on the towing course, and that was with a tiony caravan. The entrance to the CL is tight, we have a long car and 8m caravan but by taking it slow, I managed it first time. We were the only ones on site, which for our first experience was probably the best we could have hoped for, no-one watching me make mistakes! It was made so much easier by having a flat level wide hardstanding pitch, ok so I had a motor mover and E&P, but every little helps! The pitches having everything there is ideal. Water, drain, bins, EHU. I'm not sure whether I put the caravan in the wrong way round or if EHU is usually on the awning side of the pitch, time and experience will tell! I used the toilet facilities which were always immaculately clean, warm (enough!). The shower looked the same although I didn't use it. The Elson point is just outside the toilet, it was clean and for my first use, not as scarey as I was expecting! It's location on Anglesey is great, it's about a 5min drive from Newborough forest. If you have dogs, this is te best place in the world! It's huge, has more tracks and trails than you could shake a stick at, and is bordered by 2 long large sandy beaches. My dogs thought they were in heaven! There is a village just up the road with a very well stocked local shop. We followed the (caravan) TomTom in to the site, which I didn not want to return on, as the road is a too narrow 2 lane country road. I managed it only by the courtesy of oncoming traffic. The literature supplied suggested an alternate route, which I took, but it is a much longer way round, better for peave of mind though. Eric and Sue were lovely. Sue come over to say hello whilst I was showering the sand and salt water of my boys and Eric came over a couple of times. I had small self infliucted leak issue when I arrives, which Eric helped me with and pointed me in the direction of a parts shop. He also came over later to check it was working. The electric metering on site is one to be aware of. I know electicity prices are rocketing and sites need to make sure they are not out of pocket. Bear in mind there were only the 2 of us, the temperature hadn't reached the depths it has this last week and so with just heating and TV use, we were £12 over in 2 nights. You'll need to budget appropriately. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer months when the site is in full bloom. Thanks Eric and Sue!

Lovely relaxing stay

Perfect site. Each pitch has its own water electric, bins and gray waste. Each pitch is separated by hedgerows so feels private and can nature watch. Toilet block is easy to wall to. Can walk the dogs and not get muddy. Friendly helpful owner. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Lovely site, great amenities, welcoming hosts

We had a peaceful two night stay at the Brambles. Great communication via email prior to arrival and a lovely welcome from Eric on arrival. The site is well designed, with water, grey waste and recycling bins on each pitch which makes chores a little bit easier. Toilets and showers clean and heated. A short walk along the road to Newborough village and a short drive to the forest and beach. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful weekend stay

We booked last minute (late the evening before) and have never had such an efficient booking process, with instant pitch number, directions and instructions. We wanted a peaceful, restful weekend away and Brambles was perfect. So quiet through the evening and night, we slept really well. A lot of care and thought into the site and pitches, clean and cosy toilet and shower. We particularly liked the wildlife corridors and ponds. Our border collie loved the broad sandy beaches nearby, beautiful scenery. Many thanks for a lovely stay, we'll certainly be back!

A very good, fully serviced CL, in quiet location

We had great 2 week stay at Brambles and the hardstanding and fully serviced pitch was of good standard. We would be more than happy to visit this CL again one day.

Highly recommend Brambles

Clearly a lot of thought and effort has gone into making this site what it is today.Very pleasant secluded gravelled pitches, fully serviced, with easy access.Excellent communication via text and Email prior, during and after your stay, telling you all you need to know. The location is perfect to explore all of Anglesey but especially Newborough Forest with its resident red squirrels and the nearby beaches. The Owners are constantly looking for ways to make this site even more appealing to their visitors,we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Peaceful and Welcoming

Eric and Sue are very welcoming and your arrival is planned by a series of very comprehensive instructions by email. The site is well laid out and facilities are more on a par with a formal, CAMC site, in that there’s a shower block and mains/water/waste on the pitch. Lovely stay.

Lovely site

A lovely site and handy for exploring Anglesey. Facilities are good and clean and I believe are being further developed, the owners friendly and helpful, and the individual bays with water and waste super. The instructions for locating the site were brilliant and the list of local attractions, pubs and restaurants, very useful. We had 5 very pleasant nights at Brambles and explored Anglesey with ease.

Peaceful Location and Lovely Scenery.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the brambles site, site grounds are kept in clean and lovely condition. All the facilities are kept clean and hygienic, Sue and Eric are still working hard to improve on what they have achieved to make our stay even more comfortable and welcoming. If you like to see the surrounding beauty spots I would definitely suggest having bikes at least to get about its much easier than walking. Thank You Sue and Dave.

Excellent site for Motorhomes

We enjoyed our 3 nights at Brambles and having our own water and waste was a big plus, I wish more UK sites were like this. The site is very quiet with easy access and our pitch had plenty of room. We took a few bike rides out on reasonably quiet roads to the beautiful nearby beach, woods and lighthouse (you need to go at low tide, a very interesting place). The owners were very friendly and forward thinking for motorhomer’s needs, we would highly recommend!
