Wonderful Stay

We have not long returned from a 6 night stay at Orchard Meadow and it was just what my wife and I needed, a good spell of R&R. The site has all you will need and near enough offers a fully serviced pitch. The whole site is well kept by Julie and Peter and is a credit to them. Orchard Meadows is one of those sites that you want to keep to yourself, so Sssssh!

Best CL ever!

We stayed for 7 nights at the end of May to beginning of June 2022. The site is lovely, extremely well kept and so peaceful. We received a very warm welcome from Peter with very useful information both printed and verbal. The village of Bibury is the quintessential english village - amazing! We have already booked two night stops for next month and will definitely be back for a longer stay. We would highly recommend this CL.

Wonderful CL

We have just stayed for two weeks on this wonderful CL. We received a warm welcome from Julie who provided us with lots of information as we were setting up. There is an information hut full of maps and tourist information. The site is immaculately maintained with great attention to detail and the pitches are large with their own water taps. There is a lovely walk into Bibury and The Catherine Wheel pub is friendly with good food. It’s well located for exploring the Cotswolds. We loved our stay on this super site and will definitely be back!

Lovely peaceful CL

We had a lovely stay at this site for 3 nights. We were made very welcome by Peter who gave us a map of a couple of local walks, which are well signed with lovely views of the local countryside. Very close to the Classic Motor Hub which we visited on Saturday, for an event. We both enjoyed the tranquillity of this site, and the easy access to Bibury. Would recommend a visit to the nearby Abbey Farm Shop, lovely cafe, for coffee and cake. The pitches are spacious with EHU and water, which is always a bonus. Look forward to staying here again.

Brilliant rural CL

We stopped for 3 nights as a little break not too far from home. It is probably the best CL we've stayed on. The setting is wonderful (loads of walks and cycle-routes) and if (like us) you don't fancy places filled with tourists, you can avoid Bibury and go to plenty of other places. We did brave Bibury (a 3/4 mile walk) but only to buy some fresh trout for the barbie! The site is beautiful, spacious and well-maintained and the information and welcome from Peter, the owner, couldn't have been better: friendly & informative but not at all intrusive. We will definitely return, as it provides everything we want from a CL. Thank you

Loved our stay

We were given a warm welcome on arrival, and good, informative advice on local attractions during our stay. Huge pitch with a tap for each pitch, bonus! Used our (electric) bikes to explore daily, hilly in places so would have struggled without the power. Such beautiful scenery, never got tired of the views. Local pubs friendly, food good. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!

Lovely Site

Only stopped for two nights as a stop gap on route to another. Peter made us very welcome and supplied us with lots of local information including walks from the site, which we took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed! The site was very well maintained with plenty of room between pitches and although on grass in particularly wet weather, the ground was firm and no problem for our Motorhome. Potential for a good view of the night sky for us astronomy lovers where we managed to look at Jupiter through our telescope for a short while until unfortunately adverse weather took over!! Nice and quiet it's a treasure of a site and we will definitely be back for a longer stay!
