What I did in work today

I hope this does not upset anyone but thought as there was a post mainly for us retired people to discuss what we do at our leisure that there should also be a post for those still working to post. Just as some might be jealous of our freetime, some might be missing work cammeradery.

with referance to to the two posts above ,that's like saying " l don't like something so get rid/ban it" Sad, freedom of speach..

Write your comments here...Why does this post ( above ) remind me of the popular TV advert "" Should have gone to Specsavers "".

Neither JJ or myself mentioned Banning or Getting Rid of anything.

No , but you hope it will disappear Surprised

We started at 12 today but didn't get our first order until 17:30 which was a Fiordilatte order. Then we had a KFC order immediately afterwards and that's all so far today.

If Just Eat and Starship Technologies have their way you might be looking for a different type of job soon. Here in MK they plan to test self driving robots to deliver take away food orders.

David

Write your comments here...Dinner2go still have a market that's not yet tapped by Just Eat. So I'll just have to see how it goes.

That sounds like a good reason to stay out of MK David. I can just see the insurance claim. "I was broadsided by a robotic Pizza at 20mph"

I think the pizza is likely to do you more harm than the robot!!! We are awaiting the introduction of driverless pods which will ferry people from the railways station to CMK. Fortunately we have a lot of space around us so there should be no need to worry.

Just had another order for Macdonalds. So that makes six deliveries altogether today. As it's now 21:15, it could be the last order today. Then time to go home to our caravan, yippee!
