What I did in work today

I hope this does not upset anyone but thought as there was a post mainly for us retired people to discuss what we do at our leisure that there should also be a post for those still working to post. Just as some might be jealous of our freetime, some might be missing work cammeradery.

It's been a quiet afternoon at work. No orders so far, so we spent the morning and afternoon on site in the caravan and awning. We had a sea food lunch of salmon and king prawns plus veg. which we had found in Tesco at discounted price yesterday.

The weather has been mixed with sunshine and showers including a couple of heavy showers this afternoon. It's keeping the temperature down to a more comfortable level.

Yesterday was similar in the afternoon. Nothing at all until 6 p.m. after which it went absolutely manic for three hours and then suddenly the orders stopped at 9 p.m.

We had a busy period this evening between 17:45 and 20:00. Since then, no further orders. So time to catch up with the posts on here.

We started at 12 today but didn't get our first order until 17:30 which was a Fiordilatte order. Then we had a KFC order immediately afterwards and that's all so far today.

If Just Eat and Starship Technologies have their way you might be looking for a different type of job soon. Here in MK they plan to test self driving robots to deliver take away food orders.

Write your comments here...Why does this post ( above ) remind me of the popular TV advert "" Should have gone to Specsavers "".

Neither JJ or myself mentioned Banning or Getting Rid of anything.
