What I did in work today

I hope this does not upset anyone but thought as there was a post mainly for us retired people to discuss what we do at our leisure that there should also be a post for those still working to post. Just as some might be jealous of our freetime, some might be missing work cammeradery.

Did the ironing. Walked into town for something I forgot yesterday. Took the list but didn't consult!!!  Then sat in the garden with my book as family arriving two hours later than expected originally.  Walked the dog and awaitng my dinner being served. Hubby on kitchen duties so its bacon egg and chips. Just been summoned to the table

This morning we sold a cow with calf at foot, and this afternoon we sold seven bull calves.

And started rebuilding a wall end destroyed by Storm Desmond in December. The last of the long list of repairs and renewals.

Plus of course all the daily mundane stuff, which would be tedious both to relate and to read.

Write your comments here...Really sweet tweet on Radio 2 this morning. A little girl was counting her money (2 X 5p pieces) in the car on the way to a county show. She wanted to spend it on buying a cow.
