Wow this booking day is a nusicance. Just wanted to check out sites and CLs recently reviewed. Really attractive page telling me 'we're getting ready for 2017'. Can't check out site or review. This goes to show the importance of the handbook and map. What's the use if a website thgthgats out iuf action for hours for a routine task like booking or site surfing???

For the life if me I cannot see the sense in not allowing bookings to be continuous without a cut off and frenzy day.

Had a similar problem my self to night, and agree completely about continuous booking

And I prefer the present system. Makes my planning so much easier. We are all different.

I'm a great planner, not always on holidays this late in the calendar year for next year unless its a big trip. When we worked, our annual leave didn't start until April so December frenzy is useless in those circumstances. Unless you book and cancel . Seems to be designed to allow that with no penalties, no I don't want to get into a discussion about the pros and cons of that! I wish you luck with your booking. My biggest gripe is how much it affects the rest of the site. It seems every resource is needed for it whereas continuous twelve months leaves everything ticking over.

It is the way the CC choose to do it, so we just have to accept it or cease to be members.

I've just booked for next years Christmas and New Year at Baltic Wharf, Bristol. We'll be there from Thursday 21st December 2017 to 4th January 2018 and we've got an awning pitch so that we can put our awning up.

2018 Surprised When you reach a certain age a year ahead is tempting fate, and next month is a bonus Laughing

I had to click on Easy Book and keep clicking until access to the booking system is available. I started clicking at 8 a.m. and was in by 08:15 to complete my booking. The system works, you just have to be patient! The Bristol site is hard to book at any time of the year, let alone Christmas and New Year! So I'm over the moon that I've got it sorted!

Good one Malc, glad you got what you wanted Smile I'm staying away from the booking sysem and will take my chances nearer the date of decision.

Good luck Triky with the MOT, and don't work too hard.

Grey and a bit dismal in East Yorkshire, but warmer with no frost.

Write your comments here...Thanks, Dave FL2. It means we can meet friends in the area during the festive season whom we haven't seen for a long time. I know it's a long time off but it's something to look forward to!
