Freezing cold night and still frosty now, sun was out for awhile but now the sky is greyish. 

Cyber, where are you off to for Christmas?

Bright but sun's a bit watery and coolish with it. Canaries & Madeira so should be a bit warmer than here. The offspring can shift for themselves this year instead of being waited on hand and foot.

I can pack for a fortnight in a case that can be carried as hand luggage if necessary. 

I remember having to do that once when we were still diving, hadn't realised we only had total of 15kg each, it left very little for clothes once all the dive kit was packed  thankfully in Egypt you don't need much in the way of clothing.

AD have a great time in Cuba.

Cyber I take it you are also cruising, must be great living so close to the port. Have a good trip and enjoy being waited on for a change.

Oh!! I don't participate but what does booking day affect?

I think the website closes and then opens for bookings only on the 7th and comes back on line mid morning when the rush is over.....something like that.
