Welcome to the Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Ever since we came together as a group of outdoor enthusiasts 110 years ago, our Club has continued on a journey of discovery. It's time for us to make some changes for the better by redefining who we are to help you get the most of the great outdoors.

I’m sure you all have lots of questions, please post your feedback and queries in this thread.

What does our new logo mean? We created a video to explain how we created it:

Why haven't we included Marmite in the new name. Or Marks and Spencer? People would recognise that and we could get a new generation of Hipsters and Tatooed Mums and Dads joining along with Spencer and his pierced ears at age 9, and Ermine the Labradoodle to poo outside pitch 49s mega awning.

We could get McDonalds to start up a Mobile visiting fast food van coming at precisely 5.30 pn a Thursday at Black Knowl. The Milk Shakes would be ready after negotiating the pot holes in the approach road.

Haha I love the fact you think putting Marks & Spencer's in the name will get hipsters and tattooed mums and dads to join, how very Caravan Club 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

But will the wifi service get better?  Looks like the new logo could be adapted to be used as a signal booster!!

Hi Anturwyr,

One of our first steps into improving with the rebrand is that we're working on getting reliable wifi across all of our sites.

Glad to see a bit of humour has been brought into the thread, what a bunch of moaners the tuggers are. Get over yourselves, the club needs to move on, it already has a reputation for being stuffy and rule bound. This is a great start towards modernisation that is long, long overdue.

I don't think that we 'tuggers' are overly upset by the name change. It is all the hype that accompanies that. We have seen hype before.

But I seem to recall that you were doing that even before the rebrand.

As JayEss said earlier, It will always be either the Camping Club or the Caravan Club.... Few ever say The Camping and Caravanning Club, and I suspect that few will ever say The Caravan and Motorhome Club either.

Complete waste of money in my opinion. innocent

Posted on 21/02/2017 18:51

Totally agree !!! Complete waste of all our subscriptions.

. As for the grand statement that they are now to ensure all sites have WIFI before the end of the year  ----   Good Luck with that one chaps. I'll believe that when it happens and not before.
