Great Site

Great site, wardens are all spot on very friendly and accommodating, facilities are all spot on and the location for York is perfect.Every time we have been we have had a really nice stay,Taxis no problem in and out but I would use Streamline as the other company Telecars let us down when we were out in York so dont depend on them to bring you back, overall a fabulous site. Also Trevor and Patricia were in top form as usual, many thanks hope you enjoyed your beer Trevor :-)

Lovely site

We enjoyed a lovely week at this site recently.  The facilities were always kept clean and tidy, but the tiles are looking a little tired.  Our main concern was the approach road which had lots of potholes and is in desperate need of resurfacing.  However, we will be returning as this is a great site in a great location.

Why go anywhere else?

We have been coming here for several years, this is without a doubt one of the best sites. When I say best sites that's because Trevor and Patricia make it the best. They are pleasant, and I feel treat the site as if it's theirs and have enormous pride in their work. We enjoyed our visit, yes some of the previous comments about other user cleanliness in the toilets is justified but hey ho no reflection on the five star wardens. Well done to you both and hope the club rewards you both.

Half term break

We stayed here for 5 nights over half term. The site was immaculate and the staff really friendly. It was the first time I had towed the caravan home on my own and the gentlemen in the caravans opposite were really helpful! My only concern was that on the last morning when I went into the toilet block I had to go into three cubicles before there was a clean toilet.  It is really frustrating that people either don't know how to behave or let their children run riot on their own.  This is not a reflection on the site staff because they were brilliant! I would return again as the location to the motorway network and York is great.

Half term

We spent a very happy 4 nights here over half term, plenty to do on site for our 3 children as the playground had enough for younger and older kids. Toilet and shower facilities were excellent. Being so close to the Park and Ride was a real bonus as it added to the adventure of going into York and was cheap and easy to use. York is such a great place to go with a young family and we will certainly use this site again.

Excellent site.

Lovely weekend spent at Beechwood Grange. What a lovely, peaceful site. Great location for us as only 40 minutes from home. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pitches very spacious and well kept. My two dogs loved the dog walk, it was great to let them off for a good run about. We will definitely return.

Very good site

We just had 3days at this site very good for going in to York by using the park & ride the bad thing about the site was the man on pitch 72 putting his tow car on pitch next to him to save for his family as caravans was going round & round looking for a pitch he did this for 2 days till his family came the club site do not let you save pitches as we all pay the same the wardens need to look at this

York stay

Good location for Monks Cross and York City. Site is well laid out with good size pitches. Road noise was not too loud. Will certainly visit again.

Road noise spoilt our visit

This site is very nicely laid out with plenty space for pitching and parking your vehicle. Security on site was a plus and the location regarding Monks Cross and York was first class. The park and ride cost us a £1 return including parking when you get the token validated by the bus driver. The site was full being the half term holidays. Our only complaint was the road noise from the A1237 and A64 which could be heard day and night!! The crows in the trees were noisy too first thing in the morning. Take your ear plugs with you. Important .....don't follow your sat nav follow the instructions in the Caravan Club book. You can easily miss the signpost for Local Traffic!!
