enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our recent 2 night stay at this site. The refurbished facilities are a definite improvement. This site is very familiar to us as we used it for the best part of 2 months in 2014. We came back this time to visit local friends. Unfortunately we felt it was very expensive on this occasion. Over £30 a night.

Poor directions

Wyatts Covert is a pleasant site, when you can find it,as the directions in the hand book are not clear and there are no caravan club signs until you actually arrive at the site. Fortunately a very kind gentleman gave us directions. The roads are not ideal for outfits, but the site itself is very nice. Wardens were very helpful and facilities were good. Train station is near by for 25 min ride to Marylebone, for London sights. Denham village has good restaurants.  Some aircraft noise in the day, but quiet at night.

Short stay

Beautiful site, great location, friendly helpful staff. Helped by fair weather. Only down side was difficulty anchoring down awning, as it was all hard standing.. Would be a bonus if wet weather .

Easy reach of London and Windsor

We really enjoyed our first visit to this site. The Wardens were very friendly and helpful. The station is not far away in Denham. At the time we went there, there were plenty of parking spaces. An easy way to visit London. There are various National Trust places to visit in the area. A visit to the sites in Windsor is not far away. The airfield nearby has an excellent restaurant called Biggles. There is also a nature reserve within a short walk of the site. Ideal for working off the calories. We will certainly return to this site.

Very smart site in good location

Recently refurbished toilet block, very good location just off the M25, it is perfect for breaking your journey round the M25. Equally handy for visiting London, it is 30 minutes still to the station and 40 minutes train ride into Marlebone. A good dog walk adjacent, not much for children to amuse themselves without being a nuisance to others seeking peace. Aircraft noise from a busy Denham Airfield is significant during daylight hours, but quiet at night. We use this site a lot and find it very handy. Warden and staff extremely helpful.

Wyatts Covert

Very friendly wardens they went out of there way to make us welcome. Everything was tidy and clean,so nice to go into the toilet block on a cold day and it is warm and clean, even music playing via the radio. We didn't visit the village but did visit many locations in London. A petrol station with a small shop was at the end of the road so that was handy if you needed anything. The first afternoon of our stay the noise from the local Airport did worry us as it seemed none stop, but this was the only time it really bothered us.We even enjoyed a short walk to the end of the runway to watch the planes and Helicopters taking off and landing. We bought a ten day wifi for the laptop but could only use it on the first evening after that we couldn't get a signal, what a waste of money will not be doing that again Would we visit again, yes we would.

Great Wardens

We stayed at Wyatts several times over winter and early spring and each time the wardens were very friendly and helpful.  Very clean. Hardly notice the noise from the airfield. Easy access to London. Our favourite site close to London

Hot Sunny Stay in May

The weather for out 4 day stay has been fantastic the site is well maintained and clean the wardens were very friendly and helpful. Yes the site is very noisy due to the close proximity of the airfield which is busy every day, night times were OK but it didn't bother us as we were out all day at Windsor , Hampton Court which are about 30 minutes from the site. We did spend a couple of hours at country park walking along the canal. We did have a tea leaf visit us couple days,we couldn't make out why the dog biscuits kept going missing from the dog bowl we finally saw the culprits which were 2 magpies which also used the other bowl which they used to bath in it was a pity I didn't have my camera handy to take some pictures. Would I go back to this site again certainly it's placed in good position for London and other locations. The local bus does call in to the site but there are only a few journeys a day also we noticed that a bus called in to go to Windsor on Saturdays on the notice board one journey in each direction.

Aussie Tourists.

We had a great stay. Lovely amenities were much appreciated. There is a bus service to the station and the morning one is fine but the afternoon one is much too early which leaves you with an uphill walk back of 25-30mins which is very wearing after a full day in London. There is a taxi but when we got there after 6pm it was a 45 minute wait. The noise from the airfield was minimal and none at night. The planes at night were from further away. If you need to stay outside of the London emission area as we did it was perfect.
