This site has everything, Liverpool and it's attractions, New Brighton and Cafe and Creme selling the finest icecream in the Northwest, if you have dogs which need to run this is the site for you, with paths a plenty and the country park a short walk away
I don't cycle but those who do will find this site perfect with the Wirral way just yards from the site.
This site should be an open all year site.
Great site
Used the site for the first time this weekend and was very impressed. Lovely clean site with fantastic views of the Dee Estuary. Walks to the beach are 5 mins and West Kirby only 45 mins away. A great base to visit the sites of Wirral. Will definitely use this site again.

Wirral Sept 1st 2017.
Just got back from the Wirral club site had a great time and experienced the surrounding areas and even ventured to Liverpool really enjoyed it, The site has had a bit of a bad deal with some reviews recently yes it could do with an upgrade at some point but as it stands its clean and tidy and I would certainly go back.
Has to be said lovely location but needs investment...
Okay we know you get moaners who seem to always expect more than is reasonable, but what has been said before does need to be emphasised, this is a lovely location but the site is in a time warp and needs investment + TLC.
Think 1980's vanning: a central green with vans around the edge and kiddy play area in the middle, one small wash room, one elsan point and just a couple of water points and you have a pretty good handle on this site. There are alcoves and other pitching areas but the core is the 80's base from when it was built.
Potholes abound and it floods easily, grass pitches are fine when it's dry but the Northwest is not a very dry area and more all weather pitches are needed. As said the facilities need an upgrade as listed above and in other comments below. Could not agree more the unnecessary, unwanted and unloved rebranding is an obvious waste of £££ which could be spent better on sites like this.
All that said it's a busy site for a reason, in a truly lovely location with lots to see and do straight from the site or nearby. Port Sunlight was a real treat and there is top walking all around. With a little investment this could be a genuinely top site, if it's about holding on till the lease is due (sources say it's coming up) then the Club needs to be upfront about it.
Great site for the simple life
Super site, great staff and facilities but for me very good location with access to different walks.
An empty beach, a disused railway track for easy walking and GJ's Cafe was a super find and the added bonus of 10% off with club membership cards. If you are able to cycle then West Kirkby to the north is easily reached and Heswall to the south.
The only minor complaint I have with the facilities is the lack of water taps around the site.
